| LadyZ : | Quigley saunters over to the organ. "Howdy, Quig! Like my song?" sings the pink horse (slightly off key *shudder*). "No comment", says the cat, as he takes the sack off the organ and peers inside. He thrusts the sack into the horse's face. "Where is my fish flavored dog biscuit? Good grief!" "I'd be happy to!" sings the horse, "Sorry, I can't! The dog took it" pointing over at the small box. "Give me a break" mutters the cat. He approaches the box carefully, knowing that this particular multicolored dog has a nasty habit of luring cats with fish flavored dog biscuits then chasing them. He knows the dog is no match for him, let's not sugar coat it! But there's no harm in being cautious, is there? Arriving at the box, he holds out the bag. "Sandwich?" The dog looks at him, amazed. A CAT is offering her a SANDWICH??!! This could change the relationship between cats and dogs forever!! |
Multicolored Dog stares at cat for about a minute wondering what might be happening, and keeping herself from chasing the cat. Then, she carefully takes the sandwich, obviously trying not to touch the cat while doing so. She slowly pulls the sandwich up to her mouth...tension is rising.... Suddenly, she eats the sandwich all in one bite, but only about half of it actually makes it into her mouth. The other half is on her face, on the poor cat, and on the floor in about a 20 feet radius. Then she dashes home, though this feat is hard when using a shticker book, and attempts to sterilize herself from the "catness" that might have spread to her, and also to get ready for the event later this evening. When she is finally done scrubbing herself, she is completely invisible. Perhaps that's what's under the dirt on her head? Air...sorry, but I, the narrator, am being called by the dog (maybe she'll say that she is not an air-head. But she'll have trouble convincing me)

Scene: hours later. Quigley visits Lady Z at her estate and throws himself on her twinkie couch, his chest heaving in great sobs. You see, he tried so hard to win the multicolored dog's favor. He delivered the sandwich especially for HER. He was nice to her in the pit. and what does he get for it? Heartache, I tell ya!
Deeply hurt, he falls asleep, whimpering ever so slightly. I am not sure he will ever be the same again.....

Dog couldn't help but overhear since Quigley's sobs were so loud. Minutes later, the doorbell rings (since when did toons' houses get doorbells?). LadyZ gets up from her comforting, and comfortable, position on the couch and goes to the door. When she opens it, she finds no toon, person, or even developer or even even the alluring Clarabelle, but a brown sack. Inside is a sandwich and a note to Quigley. "I'm sorry for being so hard on ya. It's just that you're a cat, and I'm a dog. I couldn't control myself those few times. I could control myself most of the time, though. And I didn't"
Dog rushes in, grabs the note, scribbles on it with her pen, then thrusts it back at LadyZ and runs out the door.
LadyZ takes a look back at the note. The rest of it, scribbled so fast that there are extra and missing letters and it's hard to read - "chase after yo anyway. Its just thesee doggynesses that come over meee. Wel, herees a sanwich for yu. u dont have to get me onne if u dont wnt to, I got one for mmyself already. Im sory."
In the background, LadyZ hears dog say to herself inbetween licking fingers, "I'm going to get me another sandwich, that was good. Ewwww, my gloves taste like rubber!"

Dog rushes in again, "Oops, here's that fish-flavored biscut you wanted," she says while handing over a biscut with a bite in it. Then she rushes back out.

Alas, if this is the only pic... it only shows one toon flopping! I must wait on the dashing cat to wake up from one of his many naps and post his pics before I can truly judge. Otherwise, I'm thinking re-match of the Flop Fest with more than ONE SS!

Truly spectacular photo, Orville. Well done. What F-stop and Film speed did you use? There is no blurring at all, very clear. The photo shows the flopper exhibiting outstanding height, very impressive. The angle you used certainly accentuates the height. The form is perfect also. Body rigid and straight. Arms out reached. Head down. I mean the flopper almost looks like they are flying. Very nice photo indeed. Your angle was perfect there as well. There is only one slight, teeny-weeny little problem ….. I mean it is so small I’m almost too embarrassed to mentions it. Well here it goes …. It is the perfect photo of the perfect jump, but it is of THE WRONG TOON! I had no idea she was doing that well and now you got it on FILM! Now everybody will see her perfect form. GREAT! I have already searched my photos and have nothing useful. Are there any good shots of me out there, please. Don’t hold back now. I know I had at least a couple of good jumps.
As always your good bud,
Master Mac

My good friend Macinator,
Don't worry, I have this screenshot of the Queenie admitting that you are "master of flop". I, umm, spilled a little coffee on it this morning, sorry about the smudge.

Poor, poor, misguided purple dawg with the yellow tights! There isn't even a resemblence between the pseudo-feathered blue DUCK and my sleek blue HORSE! Even the color is wrong! *sigh* I'm afraid Mac has really warped your perspective - he's a bad influence!

Orville, do you think the picture of Granny MoMo wearing a Little Blue Duck costume and saying that Master Mac is the Winner of the Flop contest will stand up in Toon Court? I mean they say that a picture is worth a thousand words.

Anyone have a magnifying glass for me??? No old age comments, either!!
As an aside, I noticed Q isn't even friends with LazyD! HAHAHA!
Well, I have studied the SS to the best of my abilities and can't come to any conclusions at this juncture. It wouldn't be prudent. I shall have to recess, magnify the pics, and then make my ruling.

I DID click on the pics to enlarge them! I am the Great Oracle, I do have a couple of brain cells left!!! I still had to squint to see the toons, off in the wee distance, as they flopped into the pit!

| LadyZ : | Here's what I got:
BTW the number I am saying is just from counting from one to three. Orville is saying a score.
Sorry I didn't get many good ones! Personally, I thought they both did great. However, Mac bought me gifts, and told me I looked splendid, so I think he gets my vote. Sorry QP *dodges piano that drops suddenly from the sky*
|
You were counting, Geez, I thought that was the score you were giving them.
I, too thought both toons did a superb job demonstrating their floppiness. After much greulling deliberation, I have decided to cast my vote for Master Mac as well. It has nothing to do with the nice shiny new organ in my living room, nor the tamborine looking thingy either (haven't quite figured out what that thing is), and by no means does it have anything to do with the guys losing the races to the girls, nope, not one bit, probably shouldn't even mention that we lost; for my casting a vote for a guy toon has nothing to do with him competing against a girl toon, nope, not in the least. Ok, I need to change my stockings again.
