Bear on trial?
View Single PostView Single Post

I was just sitting here watching my neurons firing randomly, and it occurred to me that there's a reasonable chance there will be a bear toon in Law HQ. You know, sort of like Mata Hairy in Cash. I figure they'll have this toon on trial for some trumped up charge, and we'll have to defeat the head dude (whatever he's called) in an attempt to have him acquitted, but he'll also be able to give us instructions on how to win, like the captive toons in Sell HQ.

What you y'all think? (Are Canadians allowed to say that?)

I think you are right on the money!!! I dont doubt the captive will be a bear in Law HQ.
And unfortunately for us all, we will have to listen to those horrid grumblings each and every time we go to beat that boss!
Owoooo! I have a bear myself and find I have to mute the sound cuz I can't take it anymore! HEHE

The bear will be on trial for indecent vocalization.

I usually keep my sound muted when playing on my bear, and try to be considerate of toons in the vicinity by using the bubble. Unfortunately for non-sfs, speedchat is not available in bubbles.

Umm...apparently, I need to post in a thread unrelated to Brown Monkeys, and this doesn't appear to be related to Brown Monkeys, so I guess it will do.

Freddy, I think you just might have something there.

There, I did it. Razz

But you just made it about brown monkeys. Do they have neurons firing? Hmmm. If they do -- AND Freddy does -- the implications boggle the mind.....

I wonder if that will be due to the fact that the bear consumed too many beans or was that too much Beer?

And which end is vocalizing anyway?

Piggy Bear doesn't care for Beer, although it could be the caffeine-free diet coke. Ummm, I was going to say more in response to your second question, but I'm too polite so I'll leave it at that.

I have seen no evidence of brown monkeys with firing neurons. Then again, I have seen no evidence that they do not have neurons firing. How does one test for neurons firing in a brown monkey? The only sure test I know of involves whipped cream and a pneumatic nail gun, and isn't really very pleasant. I wouldn't recommend it, even for monkeys.

For my part, I only have three neurons that fire regularly. There's a fourth that sparks from time to time, but only when fed cheese cake with strawberries. My three dependable neurons are named Paradox, Paranormal, and Bob.

As to implications, I haven't the foggiest. But have no fear, my mind, such as it is, is already fully boggled.

Not in the least. Paradox is a cute little light blue neuron with big eyes and an even bigger heart. While he advocates helping monkeys in need, he most certainly is not one. Paranormal is the brute of the trio. He's big and black and hairy and would as soon eat a monkey as smile at it. Don't worry, we keep him restrained. Bob is, well, Bob. If you've ever known a Bob, my Bob neuron is pretty much the same. But not a monkey.

Just that, by virtue of being a Bob, you have a lot in common with one of my three neurons. If you have been and sometimes still are a Bob, surely you must know what that means better than anyone.

Then again, I may be mistaken in your case. I don't believe I've ever known a female Bob. Bobbi, yes, but that's completely different. Do female Bobs have the same characteristics as male Bobs? If you don't know, the answer is no.

Cebu!

I never said I was a Bob, I said I am sometimes KNOWN as Bob. Do I need to spell it out for you there Kevin? Now, the more pressing question is this: are you the tall Brown Monkey or the short one?

That's entirely possible.

Let me see -- sounds like you're saying you've never actually been a Bob, but others have known you as Bob, right?

Okay everybody, Kari has a self-admitted history of deceiving people about her identity. Could it be she's a habitual offender? Could it be she's deceiving us at this very moment? Could it be she's a - - - Brown Monkey? (gasp!)

I realize there are posts here that indicate she has played her regular toon in the company of Brown Monkeys, but don't let that fool you into thinking that exempts her from suspicion. There are also posts here indicating how adept she is at running toons from two accounts at once.

(Overbearing courtroom voice:) LadyZ, is it not true that you have been a Brown Monkey all along, and is it not also true that you attempted to incriminate innocent bystanders (i.e. me) in order to shift suspicion from yourself? Is it not time, LadyZ, to admit to your underhanded scheming, confess your secret identity, and put an end to all of the duplicity? I beg of you, LadyZ, please step forward into the light, shed your cloak of deceit, and allow all of us to bear witness to your true Brown Monkeyhood.

(sigh) Will she never give up? None of the above.

I deceived no one. The person in question chose to call me Bob for a reason. If you need more details you shall have to ask them, their reasons are their own. I simply went along, again, deceiving no one (those who know me will recall my former title line on TTC: "But you can call me Bob"). Next rant please.

As are many others here. Anyone is welcome to join me for a romp around either one of my estates on test, anytime.

It is absolutely true! I confess, I have been a brown monkey all along. Said brown monkey has been listed in my sig all along for all to see. He is no secret. Open your eyes man!

As to your other questions, yes, I am quite sure I have attempted to implicate innocent bystanders, just as you are doing now with me. Is that not, as they say, the name of the game? Wink

Who is most interested in brown monkeys except more brown monkeys?

LadyZ, Mamabear, Loopy, Freddy (though one of his kids is most certainly in tears now due to his having to have deleted one of their toons to make room for a brown monkey that he now disavows owning) and me. Yes I accuse myself.

me 1: No, I don't have a Brown Monkey
me 2: Yes, you do! You keep posting on those threads
me 1: Yes, but I already had a monkey and she is annoying why would I purposely make another
me 2: I don't know but you did and fess up
me 1: No
me 2: Yes
me 1: Sigh, ok sure I have a brown monkey, whatever
me 2: That's better. So which one is it
me 1: Argh!!! <--sounds like Charlie Brown)

Bravo! Lois has figured it out! It's none other than Charlie Brown behind the Brown Monkey Conspiracy. It should have been so obvious; the name is a dead give-away. But then these things usually are clearer in hindsight.

There's still one part I don't understand though. Is Lois really Charlie Brown? Or does she just sound like him?

The thought plickens.
