LOL! What a riot. cool-dance-bancool-dance-bancool-dance-bancool-dance-bancool-dance-bancool-dance-ban Ask these fine toons what they thought about it...

Mo Mo McZapper - prima ballerina
Prof. Purplewhip - Director (me)
Chocoholic1415 as Ricky - Asst Director & performance artiste
Master Mac - Performance Artiste
Princess Marigold Dandydoodle - Performance Artiste
Super Fireball Dandypocket - Performance Artiste
and Queen Purplewhip (me too) - Performance Artiste

You probably want pictures more than narrative, but I apologize that I am going to divert you on both counts. First of all, organizing from one toon while participating from another took enough concentration and I forgot to take pictures! More about that later. Now, read the narrative...

Ricky was the sole on-time toon (ty ty) and from there we built. Queen is full up on friends so Professor Purplewhip was created on my son's account for the sole purpose of directing this event. (Codes for Prof in above post if you want to come play next time). It was half past the hour before we were actually practicing with 5 toons. I'm not certain who was running Princess Marigold Dandydoodle. However I suspect it was Mo Mo McZapper which means she can multitoon as well as her beloved Orville. Wow! Update! Princess Marigold Dandydoodle is MMMcZ's and Orville's daughter. How cool is that!

We practiced at Prof PW's estate. We had to use an empty house because the doodles were distracting. Getting lined up went pretty fast, but the routine didn't sync up well. We tried in a line and in a conga line but Clover's suggested V-pattern turned out to be the best formation. Ricky literally pushed toons into their dance positions, LOL! Mo Mo got the Prima Ballerina spot by standing at the front of the V! Having the preset routines worked well, and PUT BAR TAB was prettier than CAN CAN DUD.

At 5 till the hour we hopped over to the DD island to perform, in the busiest district, and were instantly besieged by other toons who wanted to play. So while we looked good, there were 10 or so toons standing right in the middle of our splendid V formation. It was impossible, silly, goofy, funny and fun. While we didn't get applause or WOWs we did get lots of requests to Be My Valentine and Please be my friend! Some toons tried to join in, but they didn't know the CAN CAN DUD PUT BAR TAB secret!

Princess MD logged off and the rest of us went back to the estate for an after party. We suddenly remembered that to share we would need screenshots and as a result we opted to hold a photoshoot to share! Mac's son joined us for the photoshoot and the results will be posted below. Again, Ricky gets credit for pushing toons into position, even coming over and checking my camera angles! Mo Mo your improvising worked beautifully as you'll see below.

After the after-party, Mac, his son, and I went to TTC to perform. We had much more fun than the toons that hardly noticed us. It was THICK with new toons down there! SFD was amazingly focused and such an all around great sport! Mac and I jumped over to MM and used the drum set as a stage and figured out some other ways to manage the choreography that I will incorporate next time. TY Mac! Can you get these pics to your son?

I hope you are as happy with the results as I am. We have 'opportunity for improvement' but the potential shone through and fun was had! I'll create a new post for the next TT Follies (which will not occur on a Sat night). Got suggestions, post em!

I'd love to do this. Let me know when the next performance is, and whether you want the kitty to be full size, or the more compact model.

Full-sized or the more compact model!!!???? ROFL!!! Now there's an idea, to have different sized toons lined symmetrically.

Thoughts on Test ToonTown Follies (TTTF)blob6
Ooooh the potential! I bet on Test we'd have less 'audience participation' and more applause. Except, the only time I've ever seen a crowd to perform to is at the beanfest and heck, we can't miss out on that! Hmm, still worth doing sometime. Anyone have flop and peel to gift to all the Performance Artistes? lol

Next Engagement on Opendrum
I've got some ideas for our return engagement that will make things easier for all. I need 2 volunteers to be Prima Ballerinas. We will try next weekend, Sunday, with a performance in MM on the drum/stage things there. It will take 60-75 minutes and you'll need to SF Professor Purplewhip (at least temporarily).

How does Sunday Feb 26, 3pm Pacific(5 Central, 6 Eastern) look to you, my fabulous dancers? blob1

EDIT: Sunday Feb 26, 6pm Pacific (8 Central, 9 Eastern)

Rats, it's bad enough I'm not going to be able to play TT at all this weekend, but to miss the follies too Sad. Sorry Lois, I'm not going to be able to be stage manager this time. I'll hopefully be back on sometime Sunday night, but probably later.

Lois, 5 Central isn't a good time for us. You'll be missing Marigold and Mo Mo at this one.

Hmm. You didn't specify which size kitty you wanted me to bring. I'll bring Cap if size isn't an issue. He'll show up better in screenies.

I also offer to wear tights. Just for you.
