This morning, I realized my rebuild of the Database from the other day, caused a couple other things to break, while it wasn't obvious til I restarted the webserver, like it wouldn't restart because it had a problem, I didn't know. I rebuilt the package that needed to be and all seems well.
I've been admin of many servers, not really websites, but the machines themselves, and I have employed here ever trick and tweak I know to make this site as fast as possible on relatively cheap computer hardware. To me it's almost instantaneous, so that means the only slowdowns you should see result from those cause by traffic over the internet.
So with that, I will also like to say that at about 7:00 am EST usually Monday - Friday you will notice a slight slow down in the site, because that is when I sync the updates to my server in and it is kind of computationally intensive, just know that it's not because the server can't handle the load, or some other problem. I just like to keep my servers secure as possible.
