Hi. Is it me or has playing TT really reeked these past weeks? Since even BEFORE they started “warning” us about server problems. (Play at your own risk? We warned you!)
My problem has been, when TT disconnects, it crashes our ROUTER, so my husband’s game of Everquest disconnects as well. It has happened so often he wants me not to play TT! Imagine, paying for something and not being able to use it (Disney is always happy to accept a cancellation of contract, but won’t refund any of your money)
I went o a VP BEFORE the warnings had started. One toon jumped, oh well, and 2 toons froze. The last one left went sad. Then with only 4 of us left, I froze, too! Luckily, the first stun of the pie fight seemed to snap me out of it and we won (eventually!) Day after day game play has been like this. Today, even with the warning, I went into 4 story lawbot in DL. The was the Big Wig whose simple spoon I needed when, CRASH! The whole network was affected. When I came back I was sad with no gags and no simple spoon (OK OK, it might not have dropped anyway!)
Is this happening to you? How many jellybeans of yours have gone to waste because of Server failure? Why can’t we at least petition to get our jellybeans back (if nothing else)?
Sure they warned us that there might be problems (that is how they responded to the rush of complaints, with fair warning!). But we (or our parents) are paying for a service, and if we cannot perform our tasks as required to advance, we can’t really play the game, can we? So aren’t we (or our parents) paying for a service that isn’t being delivered?
Does anybody out there understand what I am talking about?
Please share (vent) here.

I was having a similar problem. Playing on test I was freezing up alot, and disconnecting most of those times. Whenever it happened my daughters AOL IM would dosconnect also. At first I didn't realize she was disconnecting so I thought it was a toontown thing, then when I found out she was disconnecting I figured it was a problem with my DSL. After talking to my internet provider they assusred the problem was not on their end and that my modem was working fine. The tech guy at my work suggested that I replace my network cable thingies(not sure what they are called), because most of them were pretty old (cast offs from work that my boss let me take) Anyway, last night I put on all new cables and have had no connection problems. Not sure that this would apply to anyone else, but it was a solution that I never would have thought of myself.
