Leaping Leprechauns! it's time for the ToonTown Follies
Well this snuck up on me, much like the pinching I got this morning. We don't need lots of toons to pull this off, so come when you can. You don't have to commit to all of them.
If you just want to watch, that's fine too, please don't come to rehearsals. We want to show you the finished product! We'll be in the busiest or 2nd busiest playground AFTER we finish the rehearsal. Starting at TTC and moving up through them all.
Friday 7:00 (Pacific time)
This special follies will be in honor of Clover's Olympics last weekend.
Practice lasts 40 minutes, then we will take 20 minutes to perform Follies for Clover's group and in as many playgrounds as possible.
Saturday 3:40 (Pacific time)
Practice for 20 minutes, then off to tour all the playgrounds
Sunday 5:40 (Pacific time)
Practice for 20 minutes, then tour all the playgrounds
Costumes:
Wear your St Patty's clothes. The clover shirt is best, but the rainbow shirts are a great alternative
Meeting Place
The Brrrgh, Pet Shop, Wacky Falls (Falls - Follies, get it?)
We may TP to Prof PW's estate if needed.
Dance:
It's easy! When you show up, you'll join a team and have a prima ballerina to follow. Basically, just watch them walk around and emote, and imitate what they do. The hardest part is that your graphics play out on your screen before the other dancers' graphics. So it looks less coordinated from your screen than it does from an observer point of view.
Here is the plan.
Circle up - imitate your prima's two emotes
Circle run - imitate two emotes
Swap spots with the toon across from you - imitate two emotes
Run to center, face outward - imitate two emotes
Circle run - imitate two emotes
Pirouette (I'll teach this) - imitate two emotes
Line up - imitate two emotes
TP to your leader - bow to them, bow to audience
It's easier to remember this way. And Prof PW will be there calling it out too.

We'll do one PG, then TP to Prof PW at the next PG, and do it again!
Participation:
- It's not too late to join! PM me two codes and I will add you to Prof. Purplewhip. She is the Follies director. Why two codes? In case one doesn't work!
- No previous experience necessary! All you need to know you will be taught during practice. Although having all the emotes is nice, it's not required.
- You will need access to all playgrounds, so if you are bringing a newer toon, make sure you've opened up your map.
- Prima Ballerinas! I need one-two primas for each session. PM me if you are interested and tell me what date(s) you can attend, otherwise we choose from who shows up. I know I want to get Marigold in the spotlight, so I am hoping at least one of these sessions meshes with her calendar.
