Just a quick post to let everyone know that there is more than one Knot E. Kitty on test. I am the black male cat, 106 laffpoints dressed in the dashing red and white signature shirt and jeans shorts, probably with no gags. You will usually find me in the company of a bevy of beautiful female toons. I sincerely hope that this other Knot E. Kitty is not out there acting in an Un-Skip-like manner, as we all know test is a tiny place, and not everyone is aware that there is more than one Knot E. Kitty. Funny thing is, when I made that toon, there were no others. Now in addition to the other(s) with the identical spelling, the is a Feline Naughty, and Purrfectly Naughty Feline, (both who happen to be friends of mine) and a few other "naughty cats". I have thought about deleting the toon, and making another with an "original" name, but as happens to all my toons, I've become attached to him, and his friends.

So, if you see a Knot E Kitty, don't just assume it's me.

I worked with the other guy and his friend for quite awhile the other night, and they were great. I don't think you need to worry!

It's a great name, BTW. I always feel moved to say this when this topic comes up, so bear with me When I made Bad Hare Day I can't TELL you how pleased I was with her name. It was the first time I had even attempted to be creative...I was so proud and I felt like it was very cute and unusual. Imagine my chagrin when about 3 days later there was a post on TTC blasting me for "stealing" her friend's name. I mean BLASTING me. It upset me so much. Luckily, the person with the toon of the same name was Lady Bumblebee, whom you probably know from test...lucky because she is a sweet, sweet lady. She posted to that thread defending me, PMd me personally and also befriended me and offered to help me in any way she could. That really meant a lot to me! Her Bad Hare Day was on open, but now there is another on test, not to mention Hare Trouble (we made our toons around the same time and ALWAYS get mistaken for one another ) There is also one running with CCG on open. Now I just tell myself Great Minds Think Alike! I would never want to cause anyone the amount of sorrow I experienced when I got blasted on TTC, and I'm sure no one here would either. I understand you just want people to know it isn't you, and I don't blame you there! That's why on the list here it says MY Bad Hare is the RED one!

When I made Banana Brain, I thought that I had the only toon with that name---come to find out there are a few of us out there, some spelled a little different (of course none as ditzy as my banana brain though). There are quite a few Mighty Mouses out there and I just found out there is another Mouse Trap on test .

I didn't copy any of the names and I'm sure that they didn't copy the name from me either. It just proves great minds think alike and it doesn't bother me in the least. I hope it doesn't bother them.

It reminds me of my school days when there were five Kathys in my class---now that was confusing. Even more confusing, when I got married one of my sister in laws has the same first and middle name as me. Until she got married there were two Kathy Ann *same last name* in the same town and we shopped in some of the same stores! That must have drove people nuts.

There's other Ricky's on open, too. Not that the name is particularly creative (but he really does look a lot like our kitty). There is even another one out there that looks exactly like me. He was much lower laff when I made non-sfs. No clue what he's at now as he was very annoying and I x'd him.

Oh I saw this toon yesterday too...I'm glad I turned to look before I said anything. It's hard when someone copies a name that you think is original...I've only had two copied that I know of, both open toons. Justin Credible and Shirley U Jest on open are both about a year and a half old, but I've recently seen copies of them running around during the open bean fests. I had planned on keeping Shirley a helper toon for tasks anyway, so that doesn't bother me that much, but I had Justin in DD...maybe I'll make him an uber to make him stand out. Thankfully none of my larger favored toons have been copied, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it happens ~sigh~

Anyway, I think anyone who knows you would recognize the "real" you. Thanks for running the factory with me the other night too and helping me get my last Mingler!! You rock!!!

Hehe. Yup. I figured this one out, when reading the discussions in the other thread, and saw people reffering to Knot E. Kitty, and it seemed this was Skip.

I am SF's with the OTHER Knot E. Kitty. And yeah, she can be naughty at times. I should know.
But she's cool though. She doesn't spend much time on test though.
