Managing Multiple TT Accounts
View Single PostView Single Post

Recently I opened a second TT account thinking my son and I could do the Parents and Pups runs. I've had to face reality that my son just isn't interested in playing TT (kids these days!) and really would rather play his violin. I feel like the parents in the movie 'Matilda'.

Anyhow now I have 2 accounts and no idea how to manage them. Do you experienced players have all your ubers in one account, do you spread them between accounts? Do you have one Big toon (an 100+ Laff maxxed gags) on each account? Along these lines do you plan what your toon's future will be before you begin the toontorial? When do you know you are going to have a CFO uber or a VP Uber?

Please help because, as usual, I'm clueless.

I have Zigzag Sr. on one account and all the other Zigzags on another account. This way Sr. can help all the other toons if they need it.

One thing to remember, you can get on Live Support with Toontown and in a mater of minutes have your toons moved around to any account you like, so it is not just one shot and you have to leave it like that forever.

If you are going to be running two toons at one time, which toons would you run toether? Those are the toons that go on different accounts.

Good advice, Zig! If you have two toons you'd like to play together, then have them on separate accounts.

As for making a "uber" toon, that would be up to you! I'm not sure how other people are when making their decisions.

LadyZ, for example, kept herself at 85 laffs on Quigley because she was supposed to be helping someone with the "85 or under with a mint" TT. Since she promised, she refused to get any more laff points but worked her gags. The person she made that promise too no longer plays TT! LOL! But, she decided to keep Q where he was.

I have a toon on my other account I plan on maxing gags asap and not taking laff tasks, if I can help it. She's there to "assist" and for my daughter to play!

If you decide to make a super toon, let us know. I'm sure there are quite a few of us who wouldn't mind helping!

When I got my second account I immediately moved a big toon to the new account and have shuffled toons around from account to account a couple times...As Zig said you can go to live support and have toons moved right away. It is nice to have a under 25 laff on both accounts for when you need to do help a new toon task.
When you start playing 2 toons at a time it is difficult to going back to just playing one! Have Fun with your new account Wooo Hoooooty! Smile

I have had 2 accts since April and absolutely love it. Like Jaycee Lee said it would be very hard for me to go back to only one now. I got it so I could move my kids' most played toons to the other account so my Big Bubbles Bananaberry could help them. But they would have none of that (go figure). So that is how Little Bubbles Bananaberry came to be. I worked her up very quickly by playing Big and Little together.

All of the suggestions above are great. Having one big toon to assist a smaller toon is very helpful. You can not only work on tasks easily, but you can work up your gags on the smaller toons quickly. I run 2 toons in the factory all the time to do gag work (or merits if needed). I also now have Little Bubbles help my kids with their tasks. I even have been known to do a VP and CFO together using the 2 accts. There are ALOT of good things about having that second Acct.

I just got my THIRD acct Wink (no I do NOT have a problem!! I DON'T!!) I moved Lady Z over there all by her lonesome for now (to be joined by some pigs soon I hope Wink). This way she can help any other toon or get help from. Once she is maxed I guess I might move Quigley over there so I can have 2 that need merits working together.

Only you can decide for sure what would work best and as someone said, you can move them back and forth from time to time.

We've got 4
View Single PostView Single Post

Well, we have 4 tooners in our family.

When we started toontown, we all played together 2-3 nights a week. It was great fun, but the the girls started getting bored with it, and they don't play as much now.

We will probably keep all 4 accounts (thanks Z for letting me know you can move toons) I can run 3 toons in buildings by myself, and did that for the LOM tasks and DDL tasks to get suits. Still working on Little Bingo's though. I always do two man factories. If I'm at a mint with two others, I jump one of our other toons there. I use the 4th toon as a tp taxi, they usually hang out in the gag shop. This makes multiple factories/mints quicker.

I guess the only other benefit that it gives me is that there are plenty of spaces for my 6 year old to create new toons. She loves to make new ones, play them through TTC getting as many friends as she can. (she also loves to VP, but hates the monotony of the Cog/Skeles. I refuse to run her while I'm running another toon through this part because I don't want to miss gag selections by being in two battles at once).

I'm building my oldest daughter a new computer for christmas/B-day (she was a christmas day baby), and I expect that she may play a little more after that.
