Got this trying to view an IM.
I had to turn the pop up option on then tried to retrieve the IM and got the error message:
Could not get instant message post information
DEBUG MODE
SELECT u.username, u.user_id, u.user_sig_bbcode_uid, u.user_sig, pm.*, pmt.privmsgs_bbcode_uid, pmt.privmsgs_text, u2.username AS username2, u2.user_id AS user_id2 FROM phpbb_privmsgs pm, phpbb_privmsgs_text pmt, phpbb_users u, phpbb_users u2 WHERE pm.privmsgs_id = 25136 AND pmt.privmsgs_text_id = pm.privmsgs_id AND pm.privmsgs_to_userid = 88 AND u.user_id = pm.privmsgs_from_userid AND u2.user_id = pm.privmsgs_to_userid
Updated: This PC has Scripting problems when using the web site (PM editor and IM). It is a new PC. I saw in another post about 'refreshing' but the message is gone.

Not an answer but another problem...my Prillian goes offline at all. I tend to lose the messages when that happens. Any idea why? also - I had all my received messages stored, but all of a sudden today it is not saving them. I didn't change a setting and have no idea how to change it back. Not a huge deal but haivng only recently discovered this. I liked it!

Wow Brian,
You sure are having a tough time getting anything running tonight!! OK, I was the one who said something to someone once about using the refresh on the prillian when they had a debug thing come up. I just tried right now to see, and all it was is right clicking on the mouse, and hitting the refresh that comes up. I hope that works for you, otherwise, I'm not sure what to say!!
I hope you get up and running on both your prillian and your test account soon. You need to finish those buildings!!! Take care my friend!!

The other day I saw '1 IM' or something like that on Prillian. I have never used it. I clicked on it and it brought up this little window with everyone that was online. No message to be viewed. Sooooo, if someone out there sent me an IM via Prillian, I am sorry! I didn't get to read it Maybe try a PM?

As far as I can see, when it says you have ONE IM that is the list. Least that's always the way it is for me!

Yes, I you are right there Kari. I, too, did check that out wondering if it was indeed a message, but finally did realize that it is the list!! LOL

I changed mine to keep the messages (manual delete instead of auto).
Anytime I try to post / pm / im or anything from that PC I get a ton of scripting errors. It never prevented me from posting or PMing. I'll try not to use that PC...

How do you change that? Now all of a sudden it IS keeping the messages....and I didn't touch anything. Can you tell me how it's done please? I'm SOOOOOO confused!!

Under the "pot of gold" icon (Edit Prillian Preference)
Under the "General" tab
Changed this option to "No" -- Enable automatic deletion of read instant messages on refresh of IM Client: (the second one down).
I remember reading something about this saving the IM.
I don't get many IMs so I'm not sure it is working

Thanks! Again, I swear I didn't touch anything. But it was already set to save and has saved them all today! Go figure.

Hey Kari you helped me with my prillian awhile back. I had to do the same settings on mine. I just manually delete them, that way I never loose a message. Works like a charm for me!

They may get recycled from time to time, as the settings say that it will only hold 25 messages, although it doesn't delete them correctly I don't think. Sorta like the regular PM's you can't delete the ones you've sent. I did do a small purge yesterday, sorry if you lost any worthwhile messages

Only lost 1 and the sender couldnt remember what it was about either...
I do now have the "You have 1 new IM" message always showing.
Now where did I put that IM that said where Jimmy Hoffa was buried?
