I waited to post this hoping he'd post in the brag thread, but it seems the Bumbleberry is being a humbleberry.
Yesterday I decided to risk a random VP on open. Went to the second busiest district, and who should wander up but Crazy Orville Bumbleberry! And lo and behold, he's sporting a Holly 29 suit. Awesome! Okay, maybe hitting 30 isn't as big a deal as hitting 50, but it's a laff point and that is a big deal. So congratulations!
And what a run it was!
Sorry, no screen shots and I don't remember the other names or most of the suits, but here's the highlights.
Card was Moe Zart, so definitely worth fighting for in any case.
Load was Orville, me in a small HW suit (9 maybe? not sure, LOL), one HW 50, and 5 small suits.
Cog split was very mean. All three of us Hollys were sided together, which meant the other side was all little suits. But both sides finished without any problems (despite a couple bad gag choices by yours truly - sorry).
Skele split was better, so I figured everything would be fine. But as the battle began things started going down hill.
At least one toon seems to have disconnected just as the battle started, as my side only had 3. Me, the HW 50, and a 60-something. But I knew Crazy O. was on the other side, and I knew he'd do everything he could to see the little ones through.
I have no idea what went wrong. Missed lure? Bad choices? Whatever the case we started hearing sad sounds. We tried to hurry, but the cogs just kept coming. Finally we finished up and ran around to the other side.
There was Crazy Orville, alone, standing face to face with one last lured 12. All three of us leapt into battle beside him. He was down to 6 laff!!!
A couple handfuls of pixie dust had him in good shape however, and we sent that last skele into orbit.
The pie fight went amazingly well. I was too busy to take much note of who was where, but I saw at leat one toon in my normal close rear stunning position, so I took up the front close stunning spot. No problem, I like it there too and it was good practice. With only 4 of us we couldn't afford too many in back where they can't push.
The experience showed as we swept him quickly down the ramps and over the cliff to the scrap heap.
So it was a fun and exciting adventure for that laff point, and I was glad to be a part of it, although it was somewhat bittersweet due to the lost toons.
~Kevin
(Edited to correct suit level. Sorry Crazy O.!)

Why thank you Freddie! It was a blast of a run, despite me not being able to pull the little guys through.
That was my fourth VP attempt for HW30, I alt'd out of the others as we pushed him over the side. Two others were random, and one was a CCG run.
I'm in the process of building my cards for a special HW50 run, so I'm being careful about which cards I gather on Orville. (hence the previously mentioned alt's). Moe Zart can help me by taking out a row of 7's, so I chose to keep him (does like 80 sound damage).
The random run was fun, I must say that my lure has been stinking lately. It was missed lure that sent the little guys on my side packing. I think it missed three times in a row. One of the other toons had a blue mag, but he had used it all up, so I tried mine, and it missed. Two toons went with the second lure miss, (facing iirc 12,12,11,10). The third missed lure sent the third little guy packing. That left Orville with like 26 laff. I did get a lure hit next, and proceeded to wait on the timer and kill the cogs one at a time, whew, no more came out too! Got down to the last 12 and he came unlured and hit me for 20, leaving me with the paltry 6 laff. I did get a lure on him with a 10-spot and sat through one timer countdown before you guys came to my rescue.
Thanks Freddie for being there!! You Rock man!

Congrats! It sounds like it was a great run. I hate it when my lure takes a dive! Sounds like the pies went smoothly, tho.
I think my Sr. toon is about ready to become a Mr. Hollywood next run. Finally! Too forever to get the 3800? merits. I'm dreading those 5500.

Congratulations Orville! Now only a few more sets of merits in that stinky old factory!! Next time you're ready, please be sure to call on LadyZ the pink horse, or you can be sure that Mel, Brady or Loopy would be happy to assist you at any time as well. That goes for getting bucks in the mints too, of course. If you need help on test, call on any Brown Monkey, or Thelonious Monkey, or again Loopy or Mel or old LadyZ are at your beck and call!
Did anyone post this over at TTC? Was this a CCG run? Oh, I see it was not....oh and I can't wait for Lawbot to come out! Owooo!

Someone just said something to me ingame, that made me come back and check this. It was a promo to HW30, not 40.
Just had to clear that up!

Oops! My bad! You'd think I'd have a basic understanding of numbers down by now. Maybe I should enrol in Kindergarten along with my daughter next year. Sorry about the suit confusion, but everything else still stands!
