It was spring break last week, so all the developers must be kids who had the week off. They turned off the lights and locked the doors and were gone!!

They actually loaded the update the first day, but one of those Spring Break partiers tripped over the cord. They are there right now, wondering why for the 6th straight day there are no bug reports or other comments on their hard work.

The developer that did all the work for the street and lawbot HQ opened an e-mail with a virus that erased all the work, so they have to start from scratch now.

They've shut down test to get us out of their hair while they frantically code as fast as they can to make the deadlines that marketing set for them.

P.S. I once did work with a developer who didn't back up their hard-drive (worked in a nonstandard configuration) who had 3 months of work zapped by a virus that got loose in our network. Pretty nasty!

hmmm...Snow far snow good on the theories...but no cigar yet~~ (prize yet to be awarded...waiting for more entries ya know.....)

Perhaps the developers DID create the Lawbot HQ...tried it out one time before the intro to Test... but forgot the part about launching toons back OUT of the Law HQ and they are STILL stuck inside there and can not get out!! Did u think of THAT?

Is it becuz there is something evil goin on? or shocking? sad? confusing or what? da da da dummmmm.....

Maybe it is so cool they want to keep it all to themselves?

Maybe they have all become so self assured that they feel their work is perfect and no longer feel the need to test it out first.

I think the programmers wanted to test Law before the testers did. They took their weak gag lil toons in to battle, went green faced back to the playground, and were sentenced to 2 weeks community service. Right now you can find their lil toons digging ditches in their orange jumpsuits! I tell ya they should of gag worked with Roxy before heading in there

I think they should make those orange jumpsuited people dreg the ponds for all the tires!

The answer is quite obvious. This is LAWBOT! The cogs got off on pleas of insanity, the case is awaiting appeal.

I think the developers have been hanging out here...watching us go crazy waiting for Law to come out. They have just decided to sit back and enjoy the show!

LOL! Pleas of insanity!! I think everyone waiting on Test to open again will be allowed to use that plea, also!

On a humorous note:
Test has been down for days since the Developers gave up Star Bucks, Mt Dew and Jolt for Lent. As all SW engineers know, Caffiene is the "stuff"

Test has been down for days to add yet another entry in Skip's Pet Peeves. They will not re-open till Skip posts.

Test have been down because ... they fear the mouse. Pink has them trembling with cold shakes. No self respecting programmer wants his game beat on the very 1st day. They are building the cyber-Stink to simulate Lil Pinkerstinks game play from the past 3 years. As all programmers know, coding is 10%, testing is 110% and simulations take forever...

Test has been down because this is Disney performance review period. All the devs quit to help Microsoft with Vista once they saw their puny 1.3% raise.

On a serious note:
Test is down because it ain't ready for Prime Time. The spaghettti code of 4 years of development has resulted in a morass of undeciferable jibberish.

Test is down for "marketing" reasons. They are waiting till >20% of all renewable accounts have expired. They will roll it out one day after each person's annual subscription expires. This will sequence over the next year as they have tied server game maintenance to their billing and accounting data base. Don't you love aggregation?
And you thought the account billing thing was a bug. HAH!

Test is down because all the devs were watching Murky run around and took bets on when Murky would give up. They sat watching her until the head developer went broke because he had bet against her. They finally kicked her off but not until the guy had paid up. He lost his house, his TUV and his Golden Mouseears. He is really angry. He is dreaming up some new fish to put in the ponds that have even some worse odds ( is that possible).

The other developers are all ROTFLOL and LTAO over how angry the head developer is about losing the Murky bet. They have a suprise for him. They are working on a shop to commemorate Murky's lone survivor show. It will be a very special shop with one of those sayings to get an emote. "Murky's Cloudy Ice Shop" will have a shopkeeper, Little Lonely Clover Paddlefink, who will lament losing her mother to a survivor show. The toon who goes in the shop will need to know the secret words to get the emote.....

Then you will get the emote we all feel, temper tantrum! This is where the toon throws herself on the ground, in frustration, and pounds the ground and kicks the ground.
