Okay, for those of us who have to live vicariously through the rest, I appreciate the screenies and updates.

However, since I can't get on, I'm confused about the "mints" and boss battle.

Can anyone give a detailed step-by-step instruction on what to expect and what occurs when? I still don't understand the cannons... cogs floating down, gavels banging. Do you fire toons at the empty chairs to stop the cogs from falling? How many toons have to "sit" in the chairs? What is the purpose of this?

So many questions... I'm sure there will be plenty more!

High Level overview: Razz
When you enter the HQ:
- To the Left is the Boss
- To the Right are the "Mints". (I guess they are Law Libraries? That is what it looks like to me).

The "mints" - 3 sets of skellies in the 2 different ones I have been in... three 11 and one 12 in each set. The cogs are all reddish and you can't make out what they are. Hint: Watch for sliding doors and stompers in the puzzles.

Boss Fight:
- First part is all cogs like the CFO. (I haven't count but I would guess there to be only 2/3 of the cogs of the CFO)

- The Second Part
* Cannon Shooting... timed session
You have to shoot a toon into a Jury chair. There are two rows of chairs. The floating cogs (like the one that come and go from streets) try to reset the chair (Blue means a toon has the chair. Grey means Cogs). The most I have seen at the end of a timed round is 2 chairs as a total. The rest have been one chair totals. I saw no difference in the next round. Assumption is that the more toons the easier it will be to move the scales.

- The Third
* the witness stand is the Bear on the garbage can...go see him for refills.
* Got to fill the scale up with "slips". There are 50 slips... they are thrown like pies then you have to run back and get more after you throw 50. I havent tried to restock if I have them.... I use them all up before running back.
* Hitting the ring of cogs stuns them and stops them from filling up their side of the scale.

There are red gavels that are in the corners... the only one that you ready need to worry about is the one near the restock pile. They do 20 points of damage.

Here is a description (of the third phase) from the other thread were I posted pictures.

There are a row of cogs that throw "slips" at you... they are like the gears from CFO & VP... do -3 damage and they fill up the COGs side of the scale. You can throw "slips" to fill up the toons scales, or TU Toons, or to stun the Row of Cogs one at a time... think there were 12. I know I could keep 4 stunned at a time by standing behind them and rotating like a sprinkler. They will turn on you and hit you but their focus seems to be hitting the scales and toon who are hitting the scales. There is a puff of dust (like 2 traps hitting) when hitting items with the slips. Correct hits on the scales turn the scales blue (like the yellow from the pie fight).

Update: To those who have also been in battle....Please feel free to update / correct / clarify any of the above. My mind is going 100 mph and my fingers only go 20mph... Mr. Green

Thanks for re-posting these, Varmint. I had read them and am still going, hmmmmkay! LOL!

I guess, since everyone is still figuring things out, that we won't all get the answers we want today. *sigh*

Back to the cannon and jury chair... I understand this is the next step, just after cog battle. The chair turns blue if it's been hit by a toon, gray if a cog has touched it. Is the ideal object to get all of the chairs blue? Why is that an advantage for the next round??

We were thinkinig that the amount of chairs you fill with toons means that many less cogs you will have to deal with throwing slips at you.. Guess it would be something to look for.. To see if there is a difference in the number of cogs when you go in the next time.

Correct... So far so good. Razz

Have no idea Confused I assume if you could get more toons on the jury the easier it would be... I was only in 4 successful fights that made it to the "slip" throwing (last phase). The chair counts were one and two. The Row of Cogs was different in that they were Taller ... easier to hit when we had the 2 chairs.

I had thought something similar, Mel, but wasn't sure, especially since I haven't been on and am just making outside observations.

Thanks, everyone, for sharing!

Can you kill the cogs throwing slips? Or only stun them?

The chairs are for the jurors. The more Toons you can fill on the juror the easier the battle. The last fight I was in although I did see chairs turning blue when our time was up we had no Toons filling the Juror seats, this is when the Toon giving instructions said "There are no Toon Jurors (or simular) this will be a harder battle. Throw slips at the cogs only stuns them, I haven't seen any cogs killed by a slip, the stun doesn't last long either!
