I saw this post on TTC. Who is this person? When I read it, it really irked I cannot respond. Does he not have 7 friends to go with? I don't see it as a race, I see it wanting to go with friends you trust, and still not always win! Looking at his name I don't know him on open but do know I did a CJ with him the other day before it got hard. But to single out anyone as being in a race and label them seems plain wrong! I saw Kalan two days ago in her Ambulance Chaser suit, but also saw her going in with any random group a few times not with friends, I took a break from CJ yesterday and work my trap on my other test toon. This morning I thought I'd give it shot since its playday for Nicole and her Dad and had an hour or more to go, we didn't make it, I'm not going to pull anyone away from battling to toon me up, as I did see others do in there, at one point I saw no one stunning the cogs this is when I took multiple hits for -6. I'm gonna go again later, lol might need another break tomorrow but keep telling myself maybe it'll get to be fun at some point!
Edit: After reading though some more he's not alone on his feelings. But I still don't quite get it, thoughout the game I would rather go to VP, CFO and now CJ with at least one friend with me. The more the merrier, why is it wrong to want to go with friends, and that being seen as stepping on others?

Besides the low level toons wanting to see the CJ we have groups of toons that are in a race to be the first Big Wigs. (You know who you are and your attitude stinks.)

This is expected and applauded on open.

You defeat the purpose of test with this behavior.

You are doing nothing to ensure that a stable and enjoyable game makes it to open.

That might be from Friday night. I went in with Laurie and Jenna, Kalan was there as well, can't say for sure but think the mouse might have been with us too! We lost two (Laurie and another)that night and since the update that has been my only win. This morning we did go with a good group but like I said to much tooning up and not enough battling. I see when it hits open were going to need those unites we've worked for. I'm even thinking about running as many CCG runs as possible on Lady Di before this hits open. It's a lot easier to use unites on everyone during the battle than having taking away and throwing evidence at each other. The night Laurie went sad I had said lets use toonup, this way, but the only ones that came to the bench at the time was Laurie, Kalan and myself, I didn't want to wait to long to use it being Laurie said she needed it I had no idea how low she was and didn't want to wait to long before using it. LOL both of us took 70lps to fill up with a full unite, unfortunately when she needed tu again I didn't have any unites to help, with her being a small toon and me being a regular size I knew by trying on Jenna I couldn't help her much.
I still think its unfair that groups of friends want to stick together as they would for VP and CFO and be labeled this way. If I'm going to go search for my contacts in the Brr I'd rather do it with friends so I can laugh it off

There is another post on TTC that I just responded to about how the toons on test that have a big suit already are only interested in maxxing their suit. I think that is ridiculous! If anyone knows Paul (Loopy Goopy Zooblefingers II) then they know this kid (he's 13 or 14) can play for hours and hours and hours. He's a Spin Doc now and he's being put in a category of having a bad attitude, not helping and wanting to be the first Big Wig. Believe me he has gone sad a zillion times, he is just able to go again and again and again. I don't know when this kid eats or sleeps, lol. It is beginning to really tick me off to hear others say he must not be there to report bugs since his suit is so high. Give me a break! I know he reports a ton of bugs! Instead of being jealous of him why not learn from him? He's obviously doing something right in there! If he wants to go with a group of his friends we should all stand back and bow! Instead, he's being labeled as a snob who will only go with his sf group. That's so far from true it makes my head spin.

That is so uncool! just doing test just to be first big wig. my parents wont even let me have test so yeah. but my friend does and she says its like being on regular toontown only u get 2 do other stuff that isnt there yet. but still, i wouldnt do test fust to say im the first big wig! thats just....not cool.

I think those who complain are more jealous than anything. What difference does it make who is the first BigWig? We are there to test, are we not? If they are playing, they are testing...and clearly winning, which is more than I have been able to do . Simply being a BigWig is not indication of anything else. I fail to see how it is "not cool".... Being RUDE is not cool but seems this post is about suit size, not rudeness.

On the other hand they probably DO want to max their suit while it is still "free". I see no problem with that at all!

PS I prefer to go with my friends too if at all possible. I prefer not to go with baby toons. If that makes me a snob then I wear that title willingly!

I was not on TT or test this weekend. I was feeling the pressure to build my suit for law instead of testing law. Toons were asking me what my suit was. I have an sf that another one of my sfs deleted saying she was an ambulance chaser now and so she didn't want to be with her anymore. I am not sure, but this environment is making me feel bad. Crazy stuff is going on. Racing to be a Big Wig...It is true..some people have more time than others..I think some toons are not thinking about testing but about making their suit big before merits are required. I have found that if ya play long enough your toon will eventually become a RB, HW and now a BW. I think this racing attitude is being projected onto others who are actually testing. I think the whole thing stinks.
I don't know what I am actually trying to say, but I know the atmosphere is making me feel uneasy and not want to be involved in it. I just want to hang with my friends and do what we usually do...stand in pg and chat, LOL. Maybe eventually do a factory..fight cfo..investigate the library. That is so much more fun than racing someone to a bigger suit or xing them cuz they just didn't get there fast enough for me.

Oh I agree there is pressure to race, and toons being judged by their suits. It stinks, and it will be the same way on open. I also agree with you that I don't care to be there right now! While on test lately I have built my suit and worked tasks on my Brrrgh toon. I am having a blast in the library when I can get friends to go (PTT and Nanner! And my friend TJ who is not on TTF....that so ROCKED the other night! Play again?) Friends are what make it rock for me, and I prefer running down the wall hitting the home key so I can report bugs, and thinking of potential pitfalls in their planning and submitting that with suggestions. Oh, and while getting my suit it was fun to just see a toon with their laff down in a street battle, and go give them a tu. But mostly I have been on open getting bucks on Quigley

I'll hit the library with you anytime ohh Excessive Punctuation Police Queen! That was sooooo fun. Much better than turning green across the lobby!

Today will be spent getting my few bux on open for a certain event that I am very excited about this evening!

Other than that I will probably plug away on Law. Giving it a try or two a day until I finally beat that thing! Am I looking to be the first Big Wig? ROFL Look at my suits on open. I'm HARDLY In a race with anyone!! (jealous...you betcha....racing to get there? No way)! Give me fun over big any ol day! Although those keys would be sooooo nice! The only plus I see about becoming a Big Wig on test is maxing suit while you don't need the runs inbetween. HA! Good luck with that anyone I swear I spend more time searching for my contact and filing reports than I do playing CJ.

Lady Z, Nanner and anyone else...Lets go in the library or fight CJ. Bring it on! It is definitely more fun with yall. I will go anytime. Maybe we should set up a TTF run.

I just wanted to say, the only advantage I can see to "racing" to get my BW suit would be that it would mean I wouldn't have to fight the CJ anymore! LOL Sorry, had to try to lighten the atmosphere a bit.
And just another little thought from me. I remember when CHQ came to test, and a lot of the same attitudes where around then as well. I believe that the situation will not get any better, only worse, as more and more people are accepted on the test server. I know we all think that test is a nice place to be, as opposed to open, and I wish that we could all just remember that most of the time we DO have more fun on test. Keep an open mind, don't sweat the little stuff, and just have some good, old-fashioned tooney fun!

I will take the library any day over the CJ battle! Just call. Umm...princess dee dee...you didnt even mention me!!!! Shame on ya..lol

Loopy Goopy Zooblefingers is a sf to ROUS, and he's a great kid. He's working on jury notices for his Big Wig 50 on open now. His folks should install a treadmill, a refrigerator, and a grow light in his bedroom.
