Don't know if anyone has noticed the change on the districts page. They have removed the actual number of toons per district. Now it's a mystery! Apparently SOMEONE at TT thought this was an improvement. I fell this is a step backwards. If you need help doing a difficult task and don't have any friends online when you are, it's easier to go to a busy district and find like minded toons who can help you out. With this new improvement you will be unable to find that busy district without jumping from district to district.
On their April 5th HQ unveiling this was in the notes:
''We've changed how our Districts Shticker book page looks and works. Let us know what you think!"
I think everyone should take a few minutes and let them know what you think about this change.

I don't like it either, and I will be letting them know. Please be sure to explain WHY you don't like it, as Charmed did here!

I think it is a good improvement. The colored buttons tell you how busy the district is. It goes to green when the district reaches above a certain number of toons and red when it is really loaded. Think it will work well when the server is busy. Not sure how well it will perform in the quiet times of the server when not so many toons are on.
But I wouldn't mind giving it a try. Just need lots of toons to test it.

If they bring that to open it will change the way we find the "busy" and next to busy district. Also, it will make it impossible to find an invasion based on the growth. But, it should make it harder for randoms to find our CCG runs when we swell a district to 3rd in size. Not sure I like it...I still like seeing numbers but then, change is often difficult to deal with.

I have mixed feelings about this change. I think it's their way of trying to deal with the problem of having one or two huge districts and many little ones. I'm not sure how effective this will be, and I think there are better ways of handling it, but I'm willing to give it a try and see how it works.

I'm sorry but I really like this change. TT is trying to spread the user base out over the entire server farm and not have one or two huge districts created. You will have either a Blue (quiet), green (normal), or Red (busy) button in your sticker book. I'm willing to bet that they might even have an orange button but until this hits test we will not know.
As for CCG runs I would advise updating the schedules and if you don't already then list districts by name and not by "most busy".
Older toons who have been playing for a while will miss the old way but with TT growing the new players coming on will eventually ensure that the districts are populated evenly.
I also envision that we will end up with atleast one busy district. Probably Kooky since toons will be looking for other toons and old habits die hard!

I can't see why providing less information about a district's population would be an "improvement". Thumbs down.
