| Silly Funnymush : | | I think if Disney prevented others from using their summon invasions while an invasion is progress, that would work out much better. Something like "An invasion is currently taking place. Wait until the invasion is over before summoning an invasion" when they click the invasion button. |
I think that is a great idea!

I have a question for those of you that do back to back CJ's. Is anyone else suffering from headaches after doing 2 or more in a row? I hardly ever require Advil, but noticed last week I was taking them each day. It wasn't until yesterday that I did a early CJ and lost, came back a little while later, booted from 3 then went in for a win. During this time I had taken Advil and the headache only persisted to the point that I left. After several hours break I got my merits, did some buildings working my other toons trap during invasions and was fine. A friend had asked me if I wanted to join them going to CJ, so I did. This was one amazingly easy run too, but after we got back to the PG I went off to get more Advil.
Today again, one run was fine then during the cog battle of the second I started with the headache same spot so left after that.
I'm just wondering if anyone else doing several in a row is getting headaches as well. I work from my computer and anywhere else in the game I don't have this problem.
I might give sunglasses a try later, but I think its something to do with the room!

Now that you mention it, I have had quite a few headaches over the past week. Will have to pay attention and see when they start.

I very rarely get a headache in the middle of the day. Mine usually occur in the late evening or close to bedtime. Today after back to back CJ battles I had a headache. I thought it was really odd!

Did my 2nd complete CJ today. Boy those cogs just keep coming, wow. We had 3 jury seats then 23 slips. Several stunned while we piled on evidence.
It was just plain tedioius, repetitive, it was just a matter of time for us to win. There is not enough variation in that last stage, no surprises. Load up, throw slips, load up, throw slips....
I also got the distinct impression that the load had wanted me off and someone else on even though I'm 105 laff, everybody jumped off once, 2nd time they stayed on, but an SF on the elevator and an SF on the platform were clearly dissappointed. "That stinks" was said from the platform, and "Sorry" from someone on the elevator. The reception warmed up in the battle, but I felt a little awkward at first.
Ah well. I'll have to try another later.

Hmm.........the census says CJ is boring, repetitive and plain out stinks. It isn't any fun at all like the CFO or even the VP. You can't even take the time to help toon each other up because everyone will go sad then.
Any suggestions on how we ask Disney to change this somehow???
Not looking forward to Law HQ on open so far.

The Summoned Invasions are BAD... helping a "small" toon to get a key from the Mingler.... A 4 story Sell drops on Oak Street. First floor is good...then Bam! Penny Pincher Invasion. Tried to play as slow as possible but this one lasted longer than the normal 2 minute one. I thought it was BAD since 3 different times trying to Help toons (randoms standing by buildings) and while in the building the invasion starts. (note: this was aside from the Law-Skellie invasions). |
Yes!!! Uncoordinated summoned invasions are verrrry bad. My friend's toon is in The Brrgh, she was not able to do her tasks lately because of random invasions. Can you imagine random invasions on open, with so much more toons?!?! Just a thought...you are on the 5th floor of a nice 5st Sell building in DDL with level 12 on the last floor. You have one cog standing - POOOF! flunkies invasion
CJ battle itself requires ultimate teamwork, not like CFO or VP where if you have couple of experienced toons you can win. I can't see 8 random toons in busy district doing CJ successfully time after time. What we see in CFO now will happen in CJ. People are fighting to get cranes. Same thing will happen in CJ, someone does not want to stun (too much work running back and forth, not as much fun as throwing at the scales - whatever is the reason) and the person will stay by the scales with 5 other people *sigh* |
this invasion happened to me...was on the last floor with the last cog in a five story sell. to my suprise, i received credit for the sells killed..anyone else notice this?? (the invasion was for cashbots)

I've been mulling this over...
I think one of the most substantial changes is that we're not attacking the CJ directly. I think that's part of the excitement of the VP and CFO is hitting them with something. Would love to be able to hit him with a gavel! Has anyone tried throwing evidence at the CJ?
Also the CJ isn't attacking us directly either, yeah, there are the gavels and cogs, but I don't get that moment of "ooh, he's targeting me, better move!" Would love it if the CJ would reach down and try to wack us with a gavel occasionally, lol.
I'd much rather have the scale a little easier to move, but much harder to target, so you had to use more precision perhaps and less rapid fire throwing of the evidence.
And as Doctor Skids said, if those cogs were wandering around freely it would be more challenging too, like goons.
That's as much as I can come up with for the moment.

They may or may not read the different boards out on the web to get feedback concerning the new changes to ToonTown so please remember to take the time (if you haven't already) and send them feedback on the new version of the game especially since they asked
- District Page Look & Feel
- The Boss Battle
- The libraries (DA Offices)
- Even the new Brrrgh Task(s) <not sure since I have completed the Brrrgh yet with another toon>
- The Law Suit Tasks
Are just some of the areas that are "new"....
