Look what decided to jump in the ol' bucket tonight in Giggly Grove district.
Can this be the end of the dreaded Cheezytoes fishing curse? Stay tooned!

I have given up on fishing. Those ultra-rare fish hide from me.

Wow! I'm so glad something went right for you last night
So, is that 3 more fish to go or 4?
Really getting down to the nitty-gritty now. Let's hope for a flood of fish.

Here are the four remaining fishies:
All Star Fish
Concord Grape PB & J Fish
Grand Piano Tuna
Grizzly Bear Acuda
Gene, I do have to say that I have been using some of your fishing advice, mainly about bucket values and the types of fish caught. Before I caught the Full Moon, I was fishing high value buckets (usually 175 and up, DDL is a bit harder than the others for 200+ buckets) and catching frequent Crescents and a few Half Moons. In fact, my first cast in that pond netted a Half Moon and I thought, "this is gonna be some good fishing tonight". Earlier that evening my wife caught a Devil Ray, her second, in the same district.
Later on I moved to Alto Ave. for some Grand Piano action and despite some good buckets, I didn't catch anything. But hey, one ultra rare makes for a good evening's work, no?

My last fishes were Grizz, Grand and Full Moon. I found the Grand to be toughest, but I think most people find it isn't neccesarily which fish but whether it is your 67th, 68th or 69th fish. Lucy Lu's nemesis was the Devil Ray, mine was the Grand, others found it was something else.
I would suggest going after the Grizz. Try fishing PG, then Walrus Way. I'd like to see what is being pulled out of the pond on Polar Place. And any day you catch a ultra rare is a good day fishing. Stick with it, I would not be surprised if you get your last 4 fish in the next week or 2 if you stay at it.
On a sep topic, we should get together with our Great race team, Bubblefuddy, Miss Pouty Face, you and I and do some boss fights for fun. Let me know if you prefer me to bring a MAX'ed toon without Trap or a MAX'ed toon without Drop. Any ideas on a team name?

Yes I am definitely heading to The Brrrgh tonight, as that is the neighborhood with the most possible fish species to catch. In addition, it's Bingo night. I will definitely spend a little time on Polar Place researching the fish that might be caught there.
I'd love to hear your opinion on the relationship between Bingo nights and the ultra rare fish.
As for the Great Race, I haven't figured a name yet but if I continue to find more fish I will consider that in a name.
I have family visiting on Thursday through Sunday. How does Sunday night sound for a little 4 toon practice runs?

Congrats on the fish!! I have 6 fish remaining and don't fish very often, but last night I went fishing while waiting for some friends to finish up notices. I went to polar place and was there about 20 - 25 mins. Didn't catch any new ones but did get 2 new records and lots of bear fish and almost every bucket was over 200 beans.
For the Great Race training, I can be available on Sunday evening. Got a time in mind? I am secret friends with Miss PoutyFace already and we are both on eastern time. Bumblefuddy is not maxxed on cash but I can alt out at the end (never done it but should be able to) And I am clueless concerning a name, maybe "The clueless fishertoons"???

I'll see if I can make room on my list for you. I'm SF's with Sandra and Gene already, so it'll make things real easy for the Race. 8PM Eastern's good for me.

Sunday 8 PM Eastern would be great to get together. I'll bring Little Spike and make room on SF list fro Bumblefuddy and Miss Pouty. I'll sign on and perhaps Keith can just SF chat. We can then pick a "blue" district, swap SF codes, and do a little VP/CFO/CJ, fishin or racin fun. Also I 'd be glad to help anyone finish mints/merits etc...

That sounds really good. Will be good to see each other's styles prior to the big event.
I can be there Sunday (may have to take a short break to put daughter in bed at some point, but I know ya'all understand that!)
I will have a slot open for whichever of Gene's toons is coming.
We do need to brainstorm some team names!
