Since the CJ came I've felt that the CFO was dummied down, but it's just a general impression.
So yesterday I took notes on a CCG run I was on so I'd have some real facts rather than feelings.
Of course, this is only one side of the battle and it is completely possible the other side did all the work.
I'm going to list it here and bore all of you just to seed the idea, and have you begin to notice it, and perhaps we can collectively confirm or deny these vague impressions of mine.
This was how my side went:
8 8 8 1 We ele'd
8 3 8 8 again used ele
9 9 9 9 used 1 fog 2 ele, bike for fun
6 6 6 8 3 aooga and a pie
10 11 11 10 2 fog, ele, aooga
11 11 12 2 3 fog, aooga
1 9 3 3 aooga and cloud
10 11 4 5 ele, aooga, 2 pianos
11 11 11 7 2 fog, ele, aooga
12 12 9 3 fog, aooga
We had left over gags gallore.
So, what do you think of these recorded cog levels?
Did they dummy down the CFO?
Have I just lucked out on every CFO run I've been on since the opening of CJ, and it just "feels" easier?

It sounds and looks right ...the cog levels.... but then again I have done many more TEST CFO in the past 2 months than OPEN CFOs. I have a BUX issue
When I was regularly going to the CFO on OPEN (pre Law), it was pot luck... I remember thinking that I had way too many easy runs then wham! I would get a run where I never saw a cog less than 6. I don't take notes but that was the impression I had.
Could it be that the CJ is harder and the CFO appears to be easier?
I think it is best to be Vague... It works for me

What I had noticed is where I thought there was almost always one or two level 12 cogs in the first round, I've been to several CFOs where no level 12s where in the first round.
I used to think that was pretty much guaranteed, seems to have changed.

Maybe there will be more 'easier' sets of cogs in CFO now. Of course, VP occasionally still has a really hard set of cogs in the first run - you just don't run into it as often. Could be the same now in CFO. The other night, we had about 6 level 12s in the first round of VP. I was really surprised there!

I did a CFO last night and the initial set consisted of 12, 8, 12, and a 4.
I'll start making a mental note with regard to cog levels.
Regarding the CJ cog battle, there also seems to be a pattern there with cog levels. Usually, a group can get through the cogs using nothing but sound. Although there are plenty of 11's and 12's, they seem to come all in a row and a set of sound can put each row down easily.
In fact the last CJ I participated in, I used only 10 gags, all of them sound LOL!
