Thank you Deputy Monty
View Single PostView Single Post

Once upon a time there was a not so stinky mouse named Pinkersmirk who was searching for friends on TT when she lucked out and made friends with a cute boy duck by the name of Deputy Monty . Wink The group we hung out with spent many a day sending those we deemed clueless back to the pg looking for their contacts. Shocked Outside of our usual griefing she would go out of her way on our countless factory runs pushing me to Drop that Piano and work your TNT! Not sure if I would have maxxed Pink out without her pushing me..

Then one day Deputy Monty got a guilty conscious and said her days of being a griefer were over. Not long after I heard she had helped found a group of toons called the CCG so I decided to join them for a few runs and see just what it was that had reformed my once stinky friend! Well the rest is history except Judy lost her stinkiness and I still hang onto mine combined with what I hope is some of what she taught me.

Anyway I wanted to take a minute and thank Judy for all she has done for the CCG and for me as a long time friend. I remember back when she was first asked to become a Mod and that she had turned the job down more than once before finally accepting it. I also remember that is was not a choice that she took lightly and the reason is as you can see through her work on TTC she puts a lot of time and energy into her “job” as a mod there.

I know I have made her job as a Mod a bit umm.. challenging and im sure that whenever she sees my name mentioned she most likely cringes and thinks What Now!! Anyway thanks for all you do Judy for the CCG and for being a great friend.

What a heartfelt post! So sweet!

Judy and I have played together many times on CCG runs but just recently got to know each other through teamspeak. I am so honored to have her on my list!

I'd like to share with everyone something Judy did last night that I thought was totally cool. Judy joined me and two of my friends for a DA run. When we got to the end we couldn't remember if an invasion was going on or not. I didn't need one to have my notices completed and neither did Judy. The two friends we were with were working on their 14440 but Judy did not know that. All of a sudden bloodsuckers invaded....my friends were like, "wooohooo" We killed the final cogs and as we started dancing Judy said, "I called that invasion, I hope someone needed it." Princess Linda and Mr. Monkey Bites were thrilled to get double notices! Thank you so much Judy! You rock!

Awww Pink your not such a stinker after all! Very nice Post! I'll add to your thanks as well.

I met DM while she was playing Nicky, I was on Lady Di. These were during the days we needed parts after VPs. We all remember those were the days the cogs were bigger and taking small toons in wasn't fun or easy. I think if I recall right we were in a off district, since my laugh was about equal to hers we started on a factory with just us two. She said she needed merits, I had needed 4 parts, but said OK and we did one run.

We agreed to meet back for another run and she had through speed chat suggested a short run to recover another part not knowing I still needed 3. Since merits were high amounts then I pushed for another long run and we kept meeting back at the front entrance after gags. After the 3rd part I believe she made up her mind we were doing a short run. It was late by then and I went to bed.

The next morning I had a friend ask if I needed merits they had 3 and had room for one more. To my surprise Nicky was one of the three, we coded through that friend and have built many toons together since.

I have done CCG runs with DM and another long time CCG members on and off since.

She really does deserve a big Thank you for all she does! LOL at cringing when she hears Pinkers name, I think many of us have put her on the spot being a Mod a few times, I know I made her job interesting at one point (sorry Judy) but she still hangs in there balancing Mod verses Friends very well.

Thanks Judy you really have done a great Job with the CCG and Mod on TTC!

Judy you are truely amazing and we really appreciate so much you do constantly for us. I met Judy as a SF back when I started VPing Some Duck. Judy has always been patient in teaching and trying to show a better view of things. I know I personally have knowledge of the game specifically from Judy's guidence. You are so much a CCG foundation and keep things much better for all of us friends and on the CCG forum. Huggs to you hun! For being a great friend and great teacher to us woohoo!

Gwarsh!!! Y'all make me blush! Thank you so much for your kind words. I guarantee you I've received much more than I've given.

Pinker and I learned the boss HQ together and our teachers were....well, I just have to laugh and shake my head when I remember!!! There were mainly five of us in that group so we often picked up a couple of unawares. Man, we both did good to escape.

And Lady Di, what a stubborn toon you were/are!!! LOL! I would NEVER in a million years knowingly allow someone to run the entire factory with me if all they needed were parts....you were maxed and weren't even working a gag.....couldn't even TALK to you and yet you insisted on doing that whole thing....not once, but several times. It was beyond me.

Storm Center...when I found out where you lived, your name make a whole lot more sense. I get most of my weather information from KTUL Channel 8. We will have to meet some day.

All of you and many more are great friends and I appreciate each of you. Now...back to the DA to work on notices.

So glad to see Judy getting a lot of praise. She has been a friend of mine for many years on TT with Nicky. Ever helpful and ever kind LOL but even her great patience occasionally runs out:)

I was going through a really bad time with family stuff in January this year and couldn't even play TT I was so distraught. Judy took the time to listen to me on IM and gave me some great advice which I think saved my sanity that particular day.

Hugs from one grandmother to another and THANKS!!!!!!!!

Jo
