You mean you can name your toon? (or is that name that tune?)
My kids created (and delete) toons before I started.

So... I asked my 8 yr old how we got our names:

- Little Spike Twinkletoon: Something about Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,. When my youngest daughter was conspiring to get me to play she asked who was my favorite Diz character. I answered Mickey Mouse. She made a Little blue mouse. Back then I had very spikey hair when I got up in the morning. She thinks it's funny how my hair sticks up all over the place. (I look like Keith Richards from the Stones before detox).. huh? does this make sense? Made sense to her a year ago....

Little (mouse), Spike (bedhead), Twinkletoon (Twinkle, the star that goes over your head when you defeat enough bldg floors )

- my Wifes' toon Queen Frecklezilla, Well she is the queen, has freckles (and fiery read hair, temper to match) and a tie in between King Kong (she is a monkey toon) and Godzilla.

- my daughter's toon: Bananasplat, She likes Bananasplits, we were into making home made IceCream last year. The splat came from the sound that goes with throwing pies, her toon is banana Yellow.
She also has Lemonsplat and some other Banana named toon, but I think they were deleted.

- my youngest daughter's toon: Super Zowie Doggenwoof, it's a dog, it goes woof, not sure about the Super or Zowie part

Some other toons:
-Captain McToon was a helper toon, help a 25 laff etc... etc... I decided to make him a SellUber after he got level 3 gags and a DD doodle, just for fun. This was purely a random selection.
- Fritz: Robert Crumb, a very strange underground cartoonist from the 60's. Mr Natural, Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, created a character, Fritz the Cat. He was black cat, with attitude. Hence my 1st black cat is named Fritz.
- LST on test, well my main toon was LST so I stuck with it so some folks might know who I was on test if they played with me on open.

Like others here, I created a toon to be able to see what this game my 7-year old was playing was all about. I created a dog with a weight problem and named her Skinny Sourwhip, for the alliteration. I rarely play her now (too hard on the ego being soundless), but that is the user name I use on my TTC, TTF, TTK, and TTP accounts. My son's main toon is Pro Googlesnap, which he typed in thinking he had typed in "Prof" for Professor.

My son also created two other toons on our account, Prof. Cliff Pepperwhip and Doctor Monty Octoboom, and then never played them. I ended up building those two toons up. Cliff is in DDL and has sound (I rarely play him) and Monty is a toon up supernoob. Before Halloween we split our account in two, and my son got a black cat which he named Catbot and I got one which I named Jean Clawed. By then we also had our test account, and we made a black cat on there which we named Snowball Two.

Rodent of Unusual Size is my favorite toon and is the name I picked out. It is from the book and movie Princess Bride. I have the identical toon on open and test (tall, sienna, dresses rather flambouyantly). I was recently sf'd on open by a boy playing a black girl cat (his main toon is Duke Doggenchomp) who thought I was "the" legendary Rodent of Unusual Size from test, who is now 125 laff and who has set all sorts of records. I was really bummed to find out there was an earlier ROUS! I wasn't the first! He said this other test ROUS is at least 2 years old. Has anyone seen another ROUS on test???

I also like to see what names you can create with the name generator. For a while I had an Aunt Petunia (sea green cat), but eventually deleted her. My hubby and I share a test toon I made named Oscar Wildtoon. I adore that name! He has several Irish sayings and dresses flambouyantly as well. Hubby had a tall monkey on test that we had a hard time getting a name accepted for (Bigfoot, Yves O. Lucien, and Xenu were repeatedly rejected), and I finally just named him Wondermonkey. Wondermonkey is rarely played, unfortunately. I also have a short mule on test whom I named Noisy Sadie. She is a sound supernoob.

Hubby's main test toon is Downy Boy, and he's a rather short and garish duck who has a lot of Irish sayings. We also created a toon on test for hubby named Ricky Rat (a toonup supernoob), which is from a Saturday Night Live parody of the Mickey Mouse Club with Dan Akroyd as a cigar-smoking, Scotch-swilling kids show mascot. Bwa-ha-ha! Hubby's main open toon is Crookshanks, who is actually a girl toon but whom hubby dresses only in shorts and unisex shirts (as Crookshanks in the book is a boy cat). Crookshanks is friends with Prof. Snape, Ron Weasely, Sirius Black, and Hermione on open. I am always gifting him with skirts, which he deletes. Our 6-year old now has a brown dog toon on open whom he named Mad Eye after Mad Eye Moody was rejected repeatedly.

Last, I recently made a pinkish-red boy bear and tried naming him manbearpig, but the name keeps getting rejected. I guess those Disney people know how to Google!

My first toon, Lady Melody Purpleberry, was named using the name generator. At the time, I didn't realize you could create your own names. She was my only toon for about 2 months. Her best friend was a brown monkey named bahamamonkey. We played together every day, then he stopped playing TT all of the sudden. Missing him, I decided to make my own brown monkey, and Blossom was born.

I wish I had some clever story about how I came up with her name, but I don't. It just popped into my head as I was making her. I typed it it, it was approved, and the rest is brown monkey history.

My third toon on open is a black cat named Teacher's Pet. For those of you who don't know, I am a teacher, so her name should be fairly self-explanatory.

On test, my main toon is a black cat named Catalina. As a native Southern Californian, I decided to name her after Santa Catalina island, off the coast of Los Angeles, where I grew up, my very lame attempt at a play on words, as she is a cat and all.

There have been other toons who have come and gone....a brown mouse named Sugar, a brown cat named Ava, a black cat named Lost Mittens, who was part of a trio (three little kittens have lost their mittens), but that toon was deleted for a horse toon. That toon's name is....soggybottom. And yes, he is an exact replica of THE Soggy Bottom. I can't tell you how many variations of Soggy Bottom I had to try before I got soggybottom approved. It took about two weeks, and Disney rejected everything. He is the worst toon I have ever had, but he gets a lot of attention. I am trying to get him ready to VP, but he still needs a LOT of work. My hope, however, is that one day he will rescue himself during the VP battle.

Lady Googlebrains - Wellll. Came from my kids sitting with me as I was making this toon. I don't really like the name now, but being my biggest toon, I'm stuck with it. I am the video game queen in my house, and a math nut, etc. When the kids get stuck in a game, it's me they call. I'm the one who helps with the math, science homework, I maintain all the computers etc. So the kids and I goofed around with making my toon have a 'smart' name. Originally it was Lady Thunderbrains, but when I got my own account it morphed into this on a new toon, and Lady Thunderbrains was deleted.

Weirdo Wolfie - a 70s cartoon character from The Groovie Goolies, a Laugh-In spoof kind of cartoon I liked.

Lady Calculus - I'm a math nut.

Dark Matter - Stewed for quite a while trying to think of a good name for a black cat. This one finally popped into my head (I love astronomy too) and I persisted in trying to get it for a solid week (at least 25 rejections) and finally got it! I LOVE this name!

No Brainer - It hit me one day that this would be such a fun name for a toon, I just decided to try it. After a few tries I got it. Then I decided that this is an awesome name for an Uber. So he's an uber in training right now.

One Trick Pony - I wanted to make a toon to goof with the guys, and I wanted to make a horse, this got approved first try. I only use throw on this toon as a joke.

Fat Supernerd (test) - I was trying to get Sub Hunter approved with no luck, variation after variation. I had this toon for as looooong time a Bright Red Cat, I hated it. I wanted a name! So in frustration I finally dug through the name generator and came up with this name to try and match the toon.

Pig N. Disguise (test) - I voted Pig, and made this toon on the first day bears came out on test.

Admiral Hopper (test) - Name for Grace Hooper a computer legend, and a woman! Woo hoo! A rabbit of course!

Big Winky Dandydoodle (test) - Fat Supernerd's mimbo (trophy boyfriend) companion. Another case of messing with the name generator to get something funny.

Hullabaloo and Ballyhoo (test) - made to tease the brown monkey clan, was so happy to get these names approved (took a while!) but I like 'em.

Loopy Nickleswirl-This was my first toon. When I started playing, Allie was gone for 10 days and I was bored out of my mind. I only intended on doing the 3 day trial, so when I made my toon I just randomly picked a a color and name, not really caring cause it wasn't a long tern thing.

Duck Tape-I spent days trying to come up with a name for this toon, and was walking through Target and saw a roll of Duct Tape and thats how Duck Tape was born.

Hissy Fit-I was talking to my sis on the phone while I was looking at cat names online, and although she thinks TT is silly, she got on and helped me look for a name. She started laughing when she saw Hissy Fit and said that I had to use it, because I could throw a better hissy fit than anyone she knew.

Meltdown- I was having a really rough week and had hit that point where I was having a "Meltdown", hence the name.

Duct Tape-All of my guy friends kept calling DUCK Tape DUCT Tape, so I made her as a joke. Ended up turning her into a cash uber when a friend made a twin toon named Super Glue.

Spoil Sport-Posted here looking for a name, and Varmint suggested Spoil Sport. Name fits her well...

Little Loopy-This was toon was made after playing with a friend of a friend. Both of our names started with Loopy, so the tell us apart we were Big Loopy and Little Loopy. Made Little Loopy as a joke and now use her as the Amazing Race host and ocasionally work on her tasks.

Space Cadet-Is the name of the small sailboat my dad got me to sail on the pond in our neighborhood. This is another one of those toons that barely gets played and is still in TTC. May never make it out of TTC.

Betty Bye-Another toon made as a joke. Don't know if she will ever get playtime...

I always wondered about the name Macavity! But I am sure I saw Black Magic somewhere....oh well, who can understand their naming rules??

I used to see this toon around all the time and loooooved the name, absolute purrfection for a black cat!

Pinkersmirk- Picked this name off of the random name generator since I didn't figure I would be playing for that long..

Faye Bunnaway- Was origonally Princess Bubblegum and belonged to my daughter. I umm took her toon over once she hit the docks and at that time TT would let you rename your toon so I named her this after fiding it on the internet. Funny thing is that those who tell me they like her name are in most cases adults. Not many kids know who Faye Dunaway is..

Miss Bunnypenny- Got the idea for this name off of James Bond movies hehe

Roxy Sparkleberry- Another one of my daughters toons that I "helped" her with.. She was originally a 5 track uber who I took up to a CFO uber.

Miss Micestro- Was clueless for what to name my only cat toon so this is what I came up with.

Dawn That- Hubby picked out the names for our matching toons.. Ben There and Dawn That were really fitting when it came to toons who underestimated our low laff and didn't look at the power behind them. We were both 48 laff 6 gag ubers before moving up to CFO ubers.

Clover Wilddoodle: So, I was using my first free trial. I picked a monkey, then i picked the color green. Then i got to the name. I liked the name Trixie, and Sally. But then I decided, this was just a free trial, right? Who cares what I name my toon? So I picked Clover, a name that I didn't really like, then I thought, lets see, I am pretty wild! So I picked wild. At that time, I had no idea what a doodle was. So I picked doodle because I liked to doodle. So there it is. But then, for my real account, I changed the type of green she was, and kept the name because I wanted memories, I never though she'd be my only toon I don't delete. LOL.

Lady Rosie Rhinotoes was a generated name. I liked Lady Rosie, since my kiwi buddy's name is Rosie. She picked the Rhinotoes. Maybe they'll get TT in NZ soon.

LeaWildcat took 2 months to get approved. I've never had that name rejected or already used. She's been my screen name forever. Wildcats was my high school mascot and Lea was the elementary school I went to.

Da lil Brat came about as a trio of uber ducks. Da Big Brat (that's his nick around the house) was my brothers and Da Baby Brat was to be my daughters but we couldn't get approved and she became Justa Baby Duck.
