I am planning on bringing Spoil Sport tonight, but if we do not have a large turnout I will switch over to Hissy Fit.

All day I've been working so I could get Clover ready for the run 2nite. I needed so many merits. I'm taking a nap until the run.

I'll try to be there tonight. And I'll wait for other toons to get on the elevator first.

Whew! What a pair of runs last night.

We went with 5 on the 2nd elevator for the night.

We survived the cog round fine, and the split was not bad for the skele round. I was sided on the side with 2 and we made our way through, but I'm guessing missed lures did you guys in on the other side? By the time we finished off on our side and ran around only Varmint was left standing facing 3 angry, but lured cogs. The three of us polished them off, but a victory was not to be had. Rarely have I seen such a jumpy stubborn VP, sheesh! Eventually it was just me and I kept trying for fun, but there was no way it was going to happen. In all 45 mintes of battling.

I have a theory...

On the runs I've seen the VP jumpiest, it tends to be because a toon is far away. I'm beginning to think that when a toon discos or goes sad, the program does not account for that correctly and treats it as if those toons are back up where the skele round happens. I've been in a few VPs where the jumping gets ridiculous even though we're all right there, but we had had either discos or toons go sad. Who knows.

Well LeaWildcat let me know a revenge run was in the offing, and so I tooned up and showed up at the pit. I'll post a picture of our departing elevator when I get home, but it was awesome. I think at least 3 CC1s, and definitely lots of smaller suits. Only Whimsey and I were Hollys. Everything went fantastic up to the pie fight, wonderful teamwork, awesome play.

As is the case for those new to the VP, getting caught by gears and jumps was a problem for the new comers. We did a lot of pie tooning up and even a unite was thrown, but I believe we ended up losing all the CC1s by the time we pushed the VP over the edge.

For those new to the VP, if you find you're getting low on health, back up a ways so you out of range of the gear throws and call for help. We'll come toon you, I know I chased one toon around like crazy trying to toon him up, it was hilarious.

And remember, when the VP jumps, JUMP! Smile

Y'all come back now!

He was a jumpy one! My daughter was sided with you on both rounds and she couldn't believe the number of ghost / fake jumps that did us in! I tried running into him (saw LST post on that) to slow him down. I think you are right...it assumes that there is a toon way up on top even after they disconnect. Near the end - it didn't matter when we jumped the VP was taking 10 away each time.... we had a good bit of laff (50+) before he went "crazy".

I used my only TU unite but it wasn't enough to save Da Lil Brat.... lure was missing and in some cases not holding long enough to get back to the offensive. If one or 2 of those lures worked we would have made it since the other two were almost done. Sad

RL happened and I couldn't make it back in time for the revenge run. By the time I could get back and regag / laff it was too late. Glag you won on the second go around!

Oh, the quick releasing lures, that was the weirdest. I saw at least 2 time lures from hypnogoggles give out after 2 turns, it was very surprising!!

What's up with that?

Sorry to hear last night's run(s) didn't go so well. Wish I could have made it, but I had a RL commitment. At least some danced on the revenge run. I hope those that didn't come back to try again.

Definitely a wild set of runs. On the first go around we were clicking along fine and then we lost Princess Boo Boo to a disco. The really wierd thing about that disco was after she left it was like she wasn't there at all. Right before she discoed she tuned us and helped take out a level 12. The level 12 came back and I lost my tu points. Varmit and I tried our best to make it until you guys could join us, but with Brat not being maxxed in pie or squirt it just wasn't meant to be. Don't worry Varmit you tried your best.

Gagged up, went home and trained the doodles and came back to the playground to find Granny Mo Moknees (?) sad in the playground and initiated the revenge run. Hubby joined us and we got 8 and what a blast. The CC1's were great. I was trying to tune them up and just couldn't get everyone with the VP jumping like crazy. Thanks Whimsy for the TOW that kept me there with you for the final push over the edge. Sorry Varmit you didn't make it back in time.

You are very welcome. I was bummed to hear someone go sad just as I was clicking the unite. I alted out when he was falling to avoid the 5,500 my uber isn't interested in running, lol. I was hoping most of the team danced!

Thanks everyone for helping on those runs the other night. On the revenge run, I had a friend teleport to me and she asked for help from some of her friends. So we had many newbies along for the run. I was having sporadic technical difficulties where my pc seemed to lock up on me. Also since I was using the laptop I had the sound turned off so I wouldn't interupt my hubby's tv watching. Definitely need to go in the other room and use the newer pc when I go for a vp run!

Thanks agian, I'll try to make it Monday night if you go!
