Keeping track of races
View Single PostView Single Post

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has thought about this so I had a question for anyone that might be able to help me out here...I was wondering if there is any way to figure out how many races you have actually completed (without of course having written all of them down manually)?...Is there somewhere in your TT files that will tell you how many races you have raced in total? (I am positive that I have raced a whole heck of a lot more than 100 rural races by now) I need another 8 trophies for the 3rd and final laff boost at the speedway Rolling Eyes , and just want to know how many more races I need to win or qualify in to finally get those *sigh* Anyone that has any information would be much appreciated.

I wish I knew too. It sure feels like I've raced several hundred times on each track. I guess it's the big TOONTOWN MYSTERY!

Unfortunately, you can't find that in your Schticker Book... Not sure if that's something Disney plans to provide or if it's something they'll keep everyone in the dark about. If they did the latter, then that would keep people racing, wouldn't it, since they don't know exactly how many races they have under their belt. Then, when you do see your trophy, it's a surprise! I would prefer knowing, though...

I definitely think that being able to see where you were in your progress would be a good thing. Certainly in line with all the other stuff you have to do (after all, we all know how many more fish we need to catch!). I need 4 more trophies (3 - 100 wins and 1 - 100 qualifies on the long track). I sure wish I knew how close or far away I was!

After racing quite a bit, (to my standards, in my lil' world ), I became impatient and started to focus on particular races and kept tally marks. I still need 100 Urban/Ice and 100 Rural/Farm races won. I didn't keep track from the beginning, but I know I have ATLEAST 23 in Urban and 13 in Rural done/won. So, it will still be a surprise when the trophy pops up, but I don't feel like it is SO endless, having no idea where I am at. Works for me, but I am not the most conventional toon you'll run across Laughing

Oh how I wish I would have kept track from the beginning! I loathe racing and if I just had reassurance that it would eventually end...I MIGHT actually do it..lol Ok, maybe not entirely true Rolling Eyes

I was thinking of pacing it out though...few races a day and EVENTUALLY you would be done...hmm

Racing is not something I'm fond of, either. If you race with friends, that makes it so much easier! Especially if you and your friends alternate winners, then you know you'll win a few.

That's way too much work! Besides, then I'd have to keep track of the pen/paper!

If any sf's see me on and feel like trading wins....give a yell! I NEED YOU!!! I'm NOT a racer either and that's the only way I'll ever get it done. Oh and plan to laugh your butt off. I really really really stink! (I tend to hit walls and come to a complete stop sometimes......ok sometimes more than once in a single race.......)

Sounds like me. Usually when it is my turn to win, the loser has to stop at the finish line and wait for me to get there. I STINK!

I tried doing that a couple of times and never could stop before the line! DOH! I finally had to stop just as I started the final lap (depending on the track) so the other person could win!

Hey Loopy, we need to race. I think I've only won 1 where it wasn't someone letting me win (heck, maybe they took pity and did let me win that time LOL). I do tend to go backwards after I hit the banana peels, I find them all Embarassed . I hit the walls on every turn and frequently miss the accelerator arrows and presents. Sometimes I come to a complete stop as well - it's hard to type while racing.

Wow! I just figured out one of the reasons I am so bad at racing! Embarassed

Hey, I just got my 15th trophy!!!! It was the trophy for 5 tournament races won. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that the other 2 toons I was in with disco'd LOL.
