CJ Rewards?
View Single PostView Single Post

Hi, I was just curious about anyone else's experiences with the CJ rewards. I'm a Legal Eagle, but I've only gotten 1 invasion out of all of the times that I've fought the CJ. It is really annoying. The very vast majority have been summon a cog... not even a building. This seems to happen whether I'm fighting w/ lower level suits or higher level. No rhyme or reason to me. There are always invasions in one district at least, so SOMEONE must be getting invasions. Just curious how the rewards are treating you guys.

I'm not that big on open (Double Talker) but if I remember correctly I've only gotten one or two invasions so far and it's been a long time since one. Right now I have 1 cog and 3 blds. Lots of invasions on test. I wonder too where everyone is getting invasions for the busy district!

I have done around 20 cjs on 3 of my toons and have never gotten an invasion.Bldgs and cogs only.Might be a random reward and I'm just unlucky. My least fav. boss battle as it is and so far not thrilled with getting summon a cog(geez) but bldgs did help while working Little.

I don't understand how they do it either. All my toons but one have gotten summon a cog or building. Thunder Thighs in his CJ debut received an invasion summons. Maybe they like chunky horses?

Well, chunky horses do have a certain something!
I got mostly cog summons and a couple of building summons. Then, last week when I started going back to CJ and got to be a Double Talker, I got 2 invasions in a row.
I don't think everyone in the group gets the same reward, do they?

Colonel has about a half dozen invasions as a Spin Doctor. Cap, as a Bloddsucker, has none.

I am experimenting to see if saving the Cog and Building summons (leaving only Invasions open) will affect the chances of receiving an invasion, since it seems a toon can have only one of each for each Cog.

I have 6 invasions (saving for the 14400) on my horse also as a Spin Doctor.I know I have used atleast 2 invasions.I also have not burnt any of my summon a cog or cog buildings, like the above post said.If everything else is full you almost have to get an invasion.

Note.I was running a DA the other nite and a Big Cheese invasion was called.Wonder how you get one of those.

So this seems like incentive to let non-invasion spots fill up.

Also a question. Let's say you're in the factory, right before the supervisor and no invasion is on. Can you call one from inside the Fac, Mints, DA offices right before you finish, or can you only call these outside?

If no invasion is going on you can call one inside DA/fact/mint as long as you can open your book.

You sure can. Toons do this all the time - stop just before the super and call one up.

As far as what rewards you get, I'm a new back stabber and I've gotten 5 invasions. I think the only summons I've used other than an invasion was a building to help my hubby's new toon.

Now, don't quote me on this becuase I'm not sure, but I think you can have more than one on each. Mike called an invasion and afterwards his invasion light was still on for that cog. So either it was some kind of bug, or he only thinks he called the invasion and someone else had just called the same one. If it is the case that you can have more than 1, I sure wish they'd show a number.

Some other questions:
1. If you call a sellbot bldg in the middle of a law invasion, what will be inside?
2. Can you call a single cog of a different type during an invasion (I think you can)
3. I don't think you can call a single cog of a different type inside the wrong HQ. I don't remember why I wanted to do this, but I tried to call a single CC while inside LBHQ and it said I couldn't call it there. Anyone know for sure?

I THINK you can NOT call another invasion while one is going on?????

Yes you can call a single cog during an invasion. Unless they've changed this I've done it before.

Hmmm never tried the inside a HQ thingy. Might have to do that since Granny Mo Mo's virgin run brought me one CC....... Razz

LOL, I tried to summon a cog while in the factory. Didn't expect it to work, but wanted to see what would happen. It told me cogs weren't allowed there. Um, better tell that to all the cogs we fight there all the time. Ja ja ja.

I haven't tried this, but my guess would be you'd get a sell building full of lawbots. I'd be really surprised at any other result.

Kevin, you are correct. A friend of mine uses Bossbot buildings in Lawbot invasions just for that effect.

So much for Disneys guidelines as to what you get for a reward;

AS POSTED IN TT GUIDE
Quote:
As reward for defeating the Chief Justice, the Toon Council and the Shopkeeper Toon Union have agreed to permit ADVANCED TOONS ONLY to issue a Cog Summons, luring Cogs into battle on Toon terms. Use this ability to help younger Toons defeat specific Cogs. The more Chief Justice battles won, the more powerful the summons get – until a full Cog invasion can be used to wipe out a large group of Cogs.

And just what do they consider "An Advanced Toon?" I have wondered about this in regards to the fish on Walrus Way and the one on Tenor Terrace, which also says for "Advanced Toons Only."

I think someone told me that if you let the summon a cog/building just accumulate, eventually you'll get the invasions. Lady F just turned Legal Eagle and has about 6 invasions I think, and I know I've used at least 3 when doing bux/merits/jns. I've never used the summon cog or building reward. Not sure how they decide what you actually receive - the highest reward I have is a backstabber cog or building and everything else is mostly small stuff.

Interesting! I've been using the summon a cog or building in order to help our little toons and Bella occasionally. Seems Disney would rather I not use them in order for me to get another summons? Annoying! Thanks for all of the replies!
