QThud, quit worrying!! Don't feel like a heel at all, no offense was taken! The Red Dog was an asset, at least from what I could see. I wasn't paying that much attention to him since he wasn't on my cog side and busy stunning while I was getting beamed by gavels!
Anna, I also wanted to thank you for staying up past your bedtime to run!
LadyZ, so glad you could get over your dislike enough to accompany me on my first run!
Overall, I think I agree with the general consensus that the CJ is pretty boring, once you get to the stunning and throwing evidence round. I had completely forgotten about the cannons, though, and groaned when I tossed one out on the floor... cannon was never my forte on the trolley! I guess three toons on the jury wasn't bad??
Anyway, thanks again! YAY!!!
Oh, what was our reward, a summon a CC? Gee, I need that!

If I'm not mistaken, the rewards are different for each toon?
Queen Thunderthud - I assumed the dog was your friend. He was a total stranger?? OMG! He was awesome! It was as if he KNEW we were flying blind (well, he saw our suits, heehee), he was great in the cog round, he was so helpful and encouraging, several times in the other part he whispered to me "good job" and such, so different from what you expect of a random If I were you I would keep him on
Granny, I did that for you and ONLY for you! Phew! I doubt I will do it again, I tend to not get THAT bored and I do have leg hairs to pluck Well, who knows, maybe some night I will be unable to sleep and need something beyond the usual. heh.....nah.

YAY!!!! Thanks to all of you rawky toons for that awesome run!! Nanner, PTT, Anna (Lady G), LadyZ, QThud, her friend, and Audrey... if all of the runs could be like that, I wouldn't mind CJ so much. The stunning was great, the tossing of the evidence was tedious... |
Thanks for letting me tag along! That was fun!
HOWEVER, I do want to make one thing clear... LOL... That red dog toon was NOT my friend... until just before Granny MoMo showed up. (WOOHOO!!!)
Scenario: I went to the designated spot at 8:45 (central time). Nobody was there, so I waited a bit. Then I checked back here and realized I missed the 15 minute addition post. I clicked back over to TT and there were toons all stinking eachother and such. I decided to just watch them while I waited the 10 more minutes. Meanwhile, Nanner had arrived. The other group of toons were still stinkin' eachother and more toons were coming and going. "The Group" from here were talking a bit to eachother as SF. The red dog just came and stood in the group and seemed to be waiting too. I THOUGHT he was one of your group. As time went on and no MoMo yet, and toons coming and going, I was guessing that you'd want to change districts. I thought, Crap... I'm not going to know where they're going cuz I can't understand what you're saying AND I wasn't friends to TP to you either... And I didn't want to put anybody on the spot to ask to be friends either. Then the red dog pssst me and asked to be his friend. So, I said yes, thinking he was with the group. A couple of times he told me to wait there and left. I thought he was your scout, checking out other districts. Then Lady Melody Petalface asked me to be her friend, (Thank You!), as you were going to switch districts, and told me to follow. I did. Then came the red dog. When someone said "Sorry, I'm helping a friend," I just about dropped over. THAT'S when I realized the red dog was NOT a part of the "Set in Ink" group. <YIKES> I felt/feel like such a heel!
I am SO sorry about that! I would NEVER ask a friend along, knowing it was CLEARLY stated that 8 particular toons were to do the battle. I shoo'd off 6 friends, telling them that it was a set group. That would be just completely rude of me to ask a friend along. It was a total mistake in my trying to guess what was going on (cuz all i saw was meow, meow, sqeak, quack, neigh, ooh ooh etc... LOL) and I do apologize.... I took 1 plus 1 and came up with 3. Not the first time and surely not the last.
It was fun, tho, and I do appreciate you letting me be a part of it. Hope to do some runs in the future with you!!!
"You Guys Are Great." |
QThud--ROFL!!! That is too funny! We were short one and that dog was great! Did some great stunning and was very helpful as well! Keep em' and if you should sf them..tell them I think they rock!
As for CJ...great! Now I need more jury notices
LadyZ- you showed so I figured you had already plucked out all those leg hairs...epilady anyone?
Do have to admit that we had some great players and it went pretty smooth considering how high the pan was (thanks to a certain granny and her cannon skills ). It was "almost" pleasant..
Anyhow, had a great time Granny. FYI: that "random" vp run...well, I reported it (and ate crow too!) a special thanks to you my tardy friend

Wow, I actually have cannon skills??? Other than giving my poor toon a nasty headache from slamming into the walls and floors??
Epilady! OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "This isn't what I'm looking for!"
You ate crow, eh? Want some salt with that? (Just curious, why would you eat crow for a "random" run?? )

This run was a hoot! Who would have thunk a group of small suites and one Legal Eagle could have taken the CJ down so easily.
I felt bad that Queen Thunderthud could not understand our discussions at all and when I did take her on as a friend I checked prillian to see if I could find her there to give her a code and at least give some information back and forth. Queen I did not want you to feel bad at all about the dog. It is so hard to figure things out when you don't understand the sf chat and to add to that he was throwing in his own now and then too. As Anna said we were just glad he finally got the clue and went to TU because once he got in there he was a definate asset to the team. When Anna said "Sorry I am helping a friend" I got a very quick "Ooops" from Queen Thunderthud. I certianly did not want her to feel bad so I told her "Don't Sweat it" I do agree with the rest he may be a keeper.
I am so glad we were able to get Lady Z to stop plucking those hairs and come CJ with us! I was a little concerned when, as far as I could tell from my half the conversation, there was a discussion on wheather Lady Z was red or pink but it seemed to resolve itself LOL.
Here is a great screenie I got. We were all commenting on how fat we looked:

Oh you guys are so awesome!
Glad the red dog (Now I know he's Super Fireball Sparklesnoop) did a good job. I still have him on my list, but haven't contacted him yet. (Haven't played much since the CJ). He just blended into the circle and seemed to be sf chatting too LOL! He does seem like a "keeper" tho. I just didn't want you all to think I simply drug a friend along when "a list" had been made. I may be sarcastic, flippant, make bad puns and at times delay too long or spaz in jumping on moving objects, but I do know basic manners JaJaJa!!! The memory as far as who has what toons (and more so, multiple toons) will take longer... Shorter names without a bunch of adjectives stick better in this melon of mine!
 ("Let's work on that")
NOTE TO SELF: Thanks to a bunch of rockin' toons help here on TTF, I have figured out how to navigate in this site, post, search, post pic, got an avatar (with son's help), blogging, PM's..... Now to figure out Prillian.... Like IM??? Yes, MUST tackle that one next.

QT, need help, just ask!
And now, as promised, some shots of the evening (well, it FELT like the whole evening! jaja)
Do these suits make our cRUMPets look big?
In CJ, no one can hear you scream....*shudder*
Errrr, Nanner....less yakkin, less saving of the powerful gags! Jaja
(plus, the horse is clearly PINK!)
Time out for some learnin': the duck is PEACH. the dog is RED. See, THAT is red, as in red, not at all like the shapely horse. The cat is pale pink, sweetly scented and needs more evidence. The horse is a darker shade of pink, more of a salmon really, but is still PINK regardless of what TT chooses to call it. (we all know Disney is run by MEN and we all know how notoriously color-blind men are, c'mon! )
The team's closing arguments
Rehashing in the PG
Can you tell what a FAB time I had! (jajaja I just have to rub in to Ang how big she owes me )
Actually it was not that bad and didn't take as long as I thought it would. But I definitely think it was the company that made the difference. I might go again with friends only but I will never make it a habit....*shudder*
