Owooooo. That was so much fun last night, even though several of our regulars were not in attendance due to an RB50 party on open (waiting to see that post LOL), we still had 2 small loads for VP. I was there 2 hours early to make sure I had my merits. Boy was it lonely . I got sad twice trying to solo short runs in the factory (missed lures) before some big nice toon showed up and did a few runs with me
Our team went with 6 - including our mascot and my monkey with wimpy gags. It's been ages since I've seen Prof Pete in VP, woohooty!!!!! I had to burn a card (Sophie Squirt) to make a space LOL. No way we were going to lose anyone on this battle and we didn't, despite some difficulties getting ourselves in the groove at the cogs. I'm not sure who was in the other group, although they danced as well.
Our team was:
Mouse Trap
Hulanoodle
Fat Supernerd
King Purplewhip
Brown Monkey (Mascot)
Pardox
On another note - Paradox has her first cash suit piece, so it won't be long before she hangs around for the CFO as well. I'll try to get her gags a little better first though . Maybe some of those nice Mayberry toons will lend me hand next week?

Woo Hoo! This run was a lot of fun! And the mascot bear moves one little step closer to a HW suit.
The highlight for me was when lure missed during the skelecogs and we took a few hits. Knowing my 34 laff uber couldn't take a lot of damage, Lois kindly asked me how I was doing.
I calmly replied, "I'm fine, no problem at all. I still have 4 laff points." LOL, she nearly choked!
Great fun guys! Thanks for another awesome run. Sorry I couldn't do a CFO after, but Purr needs bucks, and I've been focussing on Freddy's HW suit lately. Getting perilously close to my first ever key.

There were 2 groups for the CFO as well. No idea who was in the first group as I was a little delayed and they went on in. I'm glad the rest were willing to wait a few for Humble Gracespreader to finish her building LOL.
We had with us:
Pig (working on those last DDL tasks so she can get her law suit)
Dixy (who got a promotion)
Mouse Trap
Humble Gracespreader (1st CFO on test, she disco'd last week)
Fat Supernerd (promoted to NC, does this mean you'll wear undergarments now?)
King Purplewhip
Eighteen Cents
Daffodil Featherquack (who plays this toon - are you one of ours?)
We got a restock heal which I promptly used during a 2 toon coin mint with an 86 laff toon I found hanging around and convinced her we could do it LOL. Everyone else had left again But my new friend and I actually did 2 coins, so I only need 100 more bucks before next week .

Whew, am I glad Brown Monkey (Mascot) danced! I saw you guys leaving with 6, 5 were left on the platform, then another toon walked in - yay!
Polar Star
Goober
Dixy
Pammy
Daffodil Featherquack
Lap Lint
All danced for Clara! TT put all lower laff toons on the same side in the cogs round. We had few near-death experiences, but was sooo much fun!
We were the 1st group to leave for CFO:
Judy McToon
Abra Kadarba
Scooter
Sweetly Melissa
Sweetly Merilee
Sweetly ???
Freda D. Dark
We got 100 Jbs, not much, but something to share for the next beanfest!
P.S. Paradox, my 2nd toon just started DDL and is working on cash suit, let me know if you need help

Hi there. I'm the keeper of Daffodil Featherquack! Thanks for the awesome boss fights last night. I'm so glad I logged on to Test last night even if I was a half hour late to the Beanfest. Was able to throw out a couple of beans and caught the tail end of "Let's go fight the VP" phrases. I decided to tag along since Test has been so lonely and I wasn't sure when I'd be able to find a group again. Hope I didn't crash anyone's party.
You guys are great!

The more the merrier! Test does tend to be a very lonely place these days, so it can be hard to find enough toons for things, especially the boss battles. So the Brown Monkey Troop "hosts" a VP and CFO run every Sunday following the beanfest at 6:00. It's completely open, all are welcome, please invite your friends. Toons head to the pit around 6:30 or so and head in when it seems no one else is coming. CFO follows after the VPers are done, people have re-gagged, tooned up, switched toons if necessary, taken bio breaks, gotten snacks, chatted a while, etc., so the timing is pretty variable. (It's organized by monkeys so you can't expect promptness after all.)
These runs are pretty laid back, so don't take anything too seriously. Players tend to be pretty experienced, so there's no point in shuffling regardless of suits, laff, or gags. There's often too many for one elevator but not enough for two, so we try to split up roughly evenly. And that's about it. Come and have some fun!
