Hard to take a platapus or a platypus seriously. Too busy laughing at the poor creature, which seems to have been built from spare parts of other creatures. And the venom isn't very potent.

Jack Seale, of "Jack Seale's Snake and Animal Park" outside Johannesburg, South Africa said "It's one of the gods of Africa," he says. "It holds the power of life and death. An elephant can kill you. A lion or leopard can kill you. And a mamba can kill you. But with a mamba bite, since the dawn of time, it's sure. It is death incarnate."

So assuming you meant Black Mamba the snake, probably the snake. But if you meant instead Kobe Bryant, "The Black Mamba", or Uma Thurman's character from Kill Bill, or this comic book character

I'll go with the lion, thanks.

I'm going to have to go with platypus here. Ever seen one at a circus? Maybe, just maybe, there's a good reason for that . . .
