Google the word failure and instead of clicking search, hit the 'I'm Feeling Lucky Button'

I don't claim to understand anything about how my computer works...even searches on the net however Im not sure I by Googles explanation of googlebombing, when I typed failure and hit "Im feeling Lucky" it took me directly to a web site instead of giving the usual list of results. Typing it in and hitting google...or for me searching from my browser bar page thing since google is my search engine produces the normal list. Ok now if any of this at all makes sense I'll be happy Im still waiting on Hubby to get back from dunkin donuts with my first cup of coffee coffee

All "I'm Feeling Lucky" does is take you directly to the top site on the list. So if you want a list hit "search", or if you're feeling lucky and confident that the site you want will be on the top, hit "I'm Feeling Lucky".

When you go to http://www.google.com

You should see 2 buttons below the text field for entering your search term. Type in 'failure', then click on the 2nd button - the I'm feeling lucky button.

I wasn't laughing at President Bush at all! I wasn't getting the "I'm feeling lucky" button and was making jokes about that.

I'm up for jokes about people and political figures I admire and don't admire, anybody is fair game as far as I'm concerned.

Just as a reference point, I've defended my country, and I would do so again if needed, but even as I particpated in protecting the country at the height of the cold war I still never liked Reagan. But I don't want to get into a political diatribe here, but just want to make clear that I speak as a veteran and a liberal. Smile (Remember I was raised by wolves! Oops - I mean liberal 60's college professors!)

But my personal philosophy is nobody and I MEAN NOBODY is above questioning. Just ask all the bosses I've ever worked for. Wink

Those on the other side of the policital fence should feel just as free to post links to their humorous sites (and they are out there!) The great thing about this place (TTF) is I think that we can agree that not everybody agrees about this stuff and be OK with that. Mr. Green
