I agree that we need to plan these runs a bit better. My experiences for CFO have been ok, but the 3 vps I have done were as such..
1. The first one had 13 toons. Quite a few ubers here with laffs 40 or below. The first elevator loaded full with 5 of us (2 with very low lp) left. If myself and Dood did not have the resources (additional accounts with VP ready toons) I doubt we stood a chance of winning.
2. The second one had 10 toons (although 3 were maxxed toons~one my daughter on Big bubbles) and one toon who said "I'll be right back". For some reason the group loaded before this person got back in. I was waiting for her and turned to look where everyone was and saw the timer was at 2. I got on the elevator right before the elevator closed (and as she was walking towards the stairs), leaving this person unable to VP . If I was her I would probably be mad since I would have expected the group to wait.
3. I went on the VP with Some Duck at the VP she missed after I helped at a late CCG CFO. There were only 6 toons (several with low laff) so I once again brought both of my big toons. Once we were in I realized we had randoms in with us, because of the way they played. Sound was used more than I would have liked for the cog round and for the skelecog round I had my 2 toons with one of the randoms who insisited on using her bugle (only 3 on our side). The first set of cogs we could do that since they were level 10 and below, but the next set was 12's and 11's giving her a trip back to the PG. More like a random run to me. The pie part was crazy. We won, but not without 2 toons going sad in the pie part (although one was Big Bubbles that I had to abandon jumping anymore to help tune up, stun and push the very jumpy VP with Little Bubbles (which required constant use of 2 hands).
Meeting in the lobby or setting some guidelines for how many to go with, or whatever will help more people to go sure can't hurt. Just my 2 cents after my experiences.

I agree with zig that forming groups in the lobby may benefit these runs.I am more than willing to wait to see who is going and proceed from there.I am terrible at remembering who is behind many toons , so I generally just go in and load at the given time. There was a toon today who I didn't recognize the name but was sf chatting with Blossom so I knew he was not a random. But there was 2 others that I didn't recognize either and felt bad that Hissy didn't get to go but they did.But we must keep in mind that, as the group grows, randoms popping from pit to pit looking for a chance to vp are going to show up and see all the fun and want to tag along .Whatever you all feel is the best way to do this will be fine with me .

I have only made one TTF run since we started, hehe, bad boy yes I know. That one was for my 50 HW also. Maybe it seems a lot less organized because we simply don't have a lot of toons yet maybe, and we are also generally used to "packing" the elevators.
I will come to as many as I can, but as it is, I see a member of my family really only on the weekends , so sometimes, I am just sitting next to her when she plays or sitting on the bed talking to her. This will change after mid-december when the computers come back to being next to each other.
Thanks for all those that are participating, I enjoy all of you and your funniness and input into this site. I never thought we would have "organized" runs, that just happened early last week. But now that Doctor Skids is a 50 HW I will probably be on quite a few runs, and may even try out some randoms to see how I fair hehe. I haven't done a random VP in over a year.

I love the pit too. I like the idea of spamming in the pit, then heading in to form groups inside. We are small enough to pull this off grouping in lobby. However I just want to voice that I'm fine with randoms, I still get a thrill out of trying to teach new toons. For instance the run with BBubbles, even though the one CC on BBubbles side goofed pretty badly, the little random on our side played super with us. She followed the lead of lure left kill right right along with us. That to me is thrilling. Just my 2 cents, either or I'll still do the runs whether exclusive or open.

i'm not saying I won't go with randoms, I just think that when there are 7 of us, one shouldn't have to give up their spot for a random. I shouldn't have happened last night and it shouldn't have happened today.

So where was everybody? I decided to go on my first run with TTF last night and headed to SB HQ in Bouncy Summit a little before 10 Eastern with Princess Ladybug. There were only 2 toons in the pit so I checked the lobby and it was empty, too. Did you leave early? Was I in the right district? I got an invite from friends to VP, so I didn't hang around to see if more toons showed up. I'll try again tonight, with Ricky, as bug needs merits now.

Sorry. I don't think you missed anyone. I think the problem last night was we had a couple of "Special Planned Runs" going on. From Lady Z's 50th to Girls Night Out (in which at least one elevator needed some boys!)
Lets try again on Tuesday Night. There are no runs planned for Monday Nights so members can plan the different runs.
Note: I have some thoughts on planning special runs and will be back soon to talk about.

LOL! I breezed through SBHQ and saw you in the pit!! Sorry, I didn't realize you were on this site or I would've "stinked" you!
Zig, sorry hon. We loved the skirt and the lipstick, but you'll never be woman enough to run with us on Ladies Night!

Haven't had a chance to join one of these runs yet, but just thought I'd point out a minor problem with the schedule. Most of the time zone differences make sense, but Tuesday and Sunday each show a run where the PT runtime is only one hour before the CT runtime. I figure either a typo, or someone is determined to make us west coasters show up late, LOL.

Just need to point out that the West Coasters' evil plan is the more insidious one. You see, the whole reason you guys are 3 hours ahead in the first place is so that you'll have to stay up late and be too tired to play ToonTown well, making us look better by comparison. It wasn't easy either. You wouldn't believe how much work it was getting the earth to spin that way...

Since you have those capabilities, why not whisk a winning lottery ticket in my hands? Then the times won't matter!

Even if I could, that would sort of defeat the purpose, wouldn't it? But the sad fact is even us West Coasters can't control lottery results. It's an immutable law of the universe: Lotteries shall always be won by someone you've never heard of. And in those ultra rare instances (and I mean even more rare than catching a Devil Ray) when a lottery is won by someone you know, they will instantly begin to behave as though they've never heard of you. Just nature's way of correcting a glitch.

Our VP run this evening was griefed by 2 toons using the elevator glitch. When the doors closed, it left Peppy, Princess Marigold Dandydoodle, Chocoholic, and Princess Ladybug Bageltoes.
By the time I noticed what was happening, it was too late to jump off, as I would have stranded the others. I tried to convey to the others to alt-F4, but the only one that caught that was Princess Marigold.
I heard Chocoholic and Princess Ladybug go sad on the other side. I managed to kill off the cogs and alt'd out between cog rounds.
Sorry guys, wish there was some way to warn you guys quicker.

Can we have a backup district? Lots of other toons hanging around that last run, I don't know who is a TTF toon and who isn't. *talk amongst yourselves*

I'm not sure what the elevator glitch is, either, but would like to know! I've heard it mentioned a few times.
Lucy, good suggestion. Why not make a thread or a link that shows each member and our toons?? I have trouble remembering who's who around here, myself. I know we have an "Introduce Yourself" thread, but I don't have the time or patience to look through every single post to find a name.

I had actually talked to Brady about this awhile back, and I think he is working on something that would allow us to enter our toons into some sort of database. Can't remember the details though, but I think he posted something here about it.
