I have Bella absolutely begging me to get a third account as she is tired of fighting Ian over TT. Goodness, just b/c he keeps playing everyone's toon and making them sad. I walked in while he had my toon fighting the CJ w/ no gags... you can probably guess how long he lasted in that fight! Good grief. lol! Just curious if anyone else has multiple accounts?

Yes it is worth having multiple accounts. If you computers are side by side you can even play both accounts at the same time.
I have 2 accounts and it's so much fun. I have friends that have 2 and 3 accounts also.
You could also "lock down" one account so the toons on it won't be admiring the grass so much.

I have 3 accounts... one for my kids and 2 for me. We used to have 2 accounts but the kids shared an acct with my spare toons and I didn't like not having a "TP" toon when they were playing so I finally convinced hubby I "needed" another.

Okay, we are getting another account. Ian not only made Jr. sad fighting the CJ on his own, he also sold her DDL doodle AND spent 9000 jbs on SOMETHING. Good grief!

We have 3 accounts, and if we fill all of them then we'll grab a 4th account lol. One whole account for me, one whole for my son and a 3rd for my daughter, hubby, or me whoever wants to make a toon on it.

I still only have one account - I think my husband would commit me if I even mentioned getting another account and playing 2 ata time. He thinks the kids and I are nuts already.

My oldest has been begging for another account as well...it might have something to do with me always being in their account though. Right now we have two accounts, but I'm seriously considering getting a 3rd for my son to use on his own. My daughter doesn't play as often and she and I can share the 2nd account. It'd be worth it to me so we could all play together, now I just have to talk myself into budgeting in the expense and not taking over another account.
Bnkzsahm
Edited to add:....If we're counting test than I guess we have 4 accounts.

We have 2 accounts (plus 1 test acct, but I'm not counting that here), shared across a family of 5. That's one toon for each kid, one shared toon that we use when we feel like it, or let our kids' friends play, and 4 toons each for Audrey and I. We'll never need a third account. 4 toons is plenty enough to last my lifetime. And 640 K of RAM is more than enough for anybody's needs.

As of today, three. Easier to play certain toons with other toons that way.

We started out with 4 accounts, the kids weaned their playtime after some time so we ended downgrading to 2 accounts moving their best toons on to ours and we get to share nicely.
Their current new favorite game is now Club Penguin wich is very much like toontown only with penguins,
It's a cute game.
Us parents will be sticking with Toontown

We have open accounts. My wife and I were kinda drug into TT by our two boys who couldn't take the advertising from Disney. My wife joined in to check out 'the action'. Then the boys decided that dad needed to share in the fun. I'm kinda what you'd call an incidental player myself, much more casual about TT gaming. Just ask anyone who knows me. They'll ask right away where Dr. Goopy is and who took his place...LOL. Really though, she IS the more active player (just ask anyone who knows her).
I was initially and rigidly against being involved in a game that required a continuous monthly fee. So here we are doing the double-fee thing. We play together, we play early and late, and the boys? Well, they don't play hardly any now, so the toons are ... Ours to command! Well OK, they are hers, mostly... see above player comments. I'm pretty sure we are limiting ourselves to these two accounts, as I'm too practical to spring for a third. And anyway, we only have the two machines.

We have 3 accounts on open, although I'm the only one really playing lately. When the boys were playing, it was a necessity! I also have 1 Test account. The boys have tried countless times to get another Test account, but they haven't gotten one yet.
We are working on our 2nd WoW account though!

Thanks, guys, for the input... glad to see we aren't the only family with the "necessity" of more than 1 account. lol
lol Dr. Goopy about your kids dragging you into TT... happens to most of us, I think! I wish I could get my dh to play TT again. His toon got stuck in DG, and hasn't moved. I threatened to make him a new toon on the new account so that he could play w/ me and Bella.

LOL!! I used to have two accounts and, at the time, it was a necessity! Now, though, I'm okay with just one account, especially since we only have one computer! If the roomie gets her own computer, then I'm sure there will be a second account! ROFL!

We have three regular accounts for a family of 5. I got a 3 day account for the family after Skinny Sourwhip turned us onto TT and we made it formal within 2 days. My husband, Sheriff Fireball Megazapper, tried the game and within a day had his own formal account. Later I got my own account so that DH and I could accompany the kids into buildings and on CCG runs. DH and I each have a test account with the kids owning toons on my test account.
Each of the kids have 2 regular toons and 1 test toon. LOL! I have 3 regular toons I play on a regular basis and a couple of guest toons that my nephews developed while they were visiting.
I don't really mind the yearly cost because we've gotten a lot of joy out of the game. LOL! Also a lot of pain and anguish.

We have two open accounts. Two computers. Still irks me that Flipper's can get a test account and I can't. *shrug*
We are looking into a third so our son can have his own account instead of sharing with Daddy. (They know better than to touch mine now. You don't wanna know what happened when the boy told me Daddy took my uber racing!) Course we need a laptop too now. Didn't get one in time for vacation. Still think the hubby is a cog in disguise.

Let’s see . . . when my oldest daughter wanted to play tt back in December 2004 (I think), our household had 2 desktops and a laptop – 1 desktop for Mike and I, 1 that the girls shared in their playroom, and a laptop that we’d just gotten for the oldest for school (Her desk was too small for a big monitor, hence the laptop).
Youngest daughter started playing and there was too much fighting over taking turns, so we got the 2nd account and made them pay for it. We didn’t know about transferring toons, so my oldest started over. Oldest makes Ricky for dad on her account and he starts playing. I still think it’s nuts to be paying for a silly on-line game.
Now hubby is playing after the kids are done and asks me to take over this building while he takes care of something. Then he wants the computer back – of all the nerve!!!!! Hubby and I start sharing Ricky when the girls are done for the night. They’ve pretty much lost interest and I’m tired of waiting my turn. I create a toon on the other account and play on it when hubby is on, but take back Ricky when he is off. I’d been playing on the girls computer which crashed too much, so we bought a new one . . .
Now I’ve made too many sfs on Ricky and hubby doesn’t want to play him anymore, so McEngineer was created on the other account. Hubby gets tired of being in separate rooms and with flat screens so cheap now, we get a new computer for my oldest and take the laptop downstairs. Upgrades comes out and laptop can’t handle it (he crashes everytime he walks into sell hq), so we get a new really souped up laptop for hubby. I still can’t crane and I’m jealous because I now have the oldest computer in the house and his new laptop is SO much better than my desktop. So . . . yep, new computer for me .
Oldest starts playing again, only she has to make a new toon because she gave me Miss Bananaswirl and I wasn’t going to give her back. She makes her toon on (now) hubby’s account. That lasts a few weeks before we get the 3rd account and move her toon over. And I got my original toon moved to the account with Ricky.
Soooooo, 4 new computers (we still have 1 of the old desktops and the old laptop as well), 3 open accounts, 2 test accounts. Yep, I think we’re good. Unless the youngest starts playing again . . .

Pretty sure mine is, too. He is very comfortable in his desk chair and me... well, I love my pc but the world is too big to keep me in one place for TOO long... This busted knee is doing a real number on my patience and ADHD...

Hey, I didn't know that you can move toons to another account! I might have to consider doing that... I could move dh's toon to the new account if he'd play w/ us?
