Hi everyone!
Cool forum! Heard about it from Granny Mo Mo, my new sf as of yesterday, who encouraged me to join. So i checked it out and saw for myself that u guys are great! omg, i'm starting to talk like my toons! Oh well, anyway, my name's Alison and i'm a mom of 2, my son is 5 and daughter 3 yrs old.
I first heard about tt when i was watching Sonic the Hedgehog on TV with my kids and this tt ad came on. My son asked me to try the website so we did the 3 day trial thing and to tell u the truth, at first, i was not impressed. Initially, I couldn't see the challenge in the game when u can't even control ur aim when attacking the cogs and can't dodge their attacks either. My son was trying to use the arrow keys to jump out of the way of attacking cogs and it did nothing.
So i was leaning towards not subscribing, thinking i'd rather play Space Invaders anyday, but my son begged me to buy the game, so i tried to make a strong case to my husband to purchase the game after i just finished telling him how boring it was.
My son asked me to make up a toon too, so i made up Lady Violet Petalfoot, and let him play it, as i had no intention to play at first. Then he asked for my help playing his toon one day and before i knew it, i was hooked, and i can't really remember how or why, it's all a blur to me. Now i'm a tt addict, and there's no turning back. I have a new toon now too, Starlette Sky, cuz i wanted trap and Lady V is trapless.

Always blame the kids for Toontown!!!! It's my kids fault that we have 3 accounts in our house plus 3 test accounts. JAJA It's all the kids fault! (what will my excuse be when the boy goes off to college next year? hmmm, I know! We need the game to keep in touch!!

As for my hubby over there also known as AKA now since he has so many names they don't know what to call him anymore. Believe me he has just as many names at home LOL. And believe all that you hear about him it is all true and just sympathize with me because I have to LIVE WITH IT EVERY DAY!!!!!! hee hee ok ok it isn't that bad.
But seriously I don't think there is an adult on this forum that can't blame a kid in their life for roping them into this game and then the adult is stuck to the game long after the kids have lost interest.

Thanks for the welcome guys! You're all a riot! I'll be visiting often for comic relief! Great to see that there are other Canadians that play too, I've only met one other in tt. But I have many awesome American friends! I love meeting new people from all over! Toons of the world unite!
