Lady Mo Mo maxed her watering can tonight. No fanfare, no confetti, no bit Pokemon like ball over her head. It just said "no skill up" when she reached the highest level! You would have thought something would've happened.... oh well!

I got trumpets and a confetti ball when I got my huge can. It was kinda fun, lol. Sorry you didn't get that.

Yeah how did you do that so quickly? I only have 3 toons and only one of them has all the trees planted. She's the only one who has been doing the watering but still that is all flowers plus 9 trees a day. You sneeking over to my house and doing my watering again? BTW did it do anything? Still have to water everything 6 times? (or is that 8? I forget)
I would have thought something great would happen with the new shovel too but nada. How disappointing.

At 400 I got the fanfare/pokeball and all, which gives you the HUGE watering can, 400/400. Buuuuu-huuuut theeeeen it says 400/999 (or was it 0/999), which I expected that something would happen upon reaching 999/999 too. Nope. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
And yep, I did water everyone elses plants too... The point? To SEE WHAT would happen... Which turned out to be nothing anyway. ***shrugs*** All in a day of TESTING, I guess.

The other question is. How are toons doing 4 plus bean combos? I don't believe I missed a day (except when it was down) planting flowers and I just got my 3 bean shovel. I had even dug up and replanted quite a few trees when I thought they were dead. Yeah, when I moved from one to two and from two to three bean flowers I had some extras because I didn't know this is how it progressed. Sooooo is anyone here past 3 beans and if so......how?

Well nanner, some have been using the fertilizer to get ahead, saving up for it to buy it again each time. Some may also have other gardens that they also take care of, in there estate.
I don't think I missed a beat either but some are doing 5 bean combo's already.

Acutally, I just watered everything BEFORE I dug it up, then replanted flowers and watered to the max for each. I do have another toon on Test who is strictly a gardener and I would use Lady Mo Mo to max water her stuff, too.
The only thing I can think of for the maxed can is that it helps your flowers and trees grow faster. I can plant flowers at night and they will be full-grown the following morning, and I haven't been using any fertilizer.
Speaking of fertilizer (funnymush comes to mind!!), it's not available any more to be bought, at least not in any of my toons cattlelogs. The only thing that would do, IMO, is speed up the growth process, not accelerate the level of JBs to be planted.
Nanner, there are actually toons working on planting five JBs now!!

Actually, I don't think it even takes that long! I dug up some flowers on one of my toons this morning about 1:30am (having forgotten to do it earlier) and then went fishing until the end of Bingo. I went back to my estate shortly after 2am and they were fully bloomed! This particular toon doesn't have his watering can maxed yet, so I'm not sure if that really has any effect. I really think it has to do with when the time changes to the next day. I'm in the Central time zone so whenever it's midnight/the next day (I think the time depends on your time zone?) is probably when your flowers bloom...but I could be wrong.

PS None of the toons on that account have used fertilzer.

Shazam, you are probably right, but I'm in ZZZZZville when the PST time changes to the next day! I'll take your word for it!

Good Evening, My fellow Night Owl!!!
You are correct...Yes, in our time zone (Central) the new day begins/ends at 2a.m. So, whatever time they are planted, they bloom at 2a.m. I have tried planting at different times, watering more or less... Seems it is every 24 hrs you can get 10 skill points for the shovel, (without fertilizer), with the blooming time being when Toontown Time Zone hits the stroke of Midnight. In our time zone, it is also 2a.m. when fishing, racing begins/ends etc. too, but my new cattlelog comes at midnight our time, so go figure!
See ya in the wee hours!

Here's a screenie of when you get your huge watering can. Since I knew it was coming, I invited some friends over for a party. They couldn't see the confetti though. You'd think with a huge can you wouldn't need to water as much. Has anyone tested this?

I took screenies of my celebration.
Trumpets emerged from the planter:
A ball appeared over my head:
Then the ball opened and confetti rained down:
EDITED TO ADD: You will need to click on this last picture, as the confetti is too small to show up in the thumbnail image.
