Heres the biggie..My hubby is sad in the playground.. and he is not gaining any laff at all not in twenty minutes! Logged off.. Logged on... He's still sad. OOF!
Off to file bug reports! Let me know if it is happening to anyone else!

It only happened when I logged-off. Good thing I didn't go sad. I thought I would though, the DA's office was unbelievable. I swear Toontown was doing it on purpose. Every gag missed over and over and at least one puzzle tripped when I thought it was solved. At one point the lure hit and the cog jumped out of the way of the squirt and then the Piano missed. The other cogs stayed lured though. It was crazy! One toon either disco'd or deserted. Yikes, it was an aweful DA. Must be a bug. Will you report that too, please?

I am going to experiment later.. See if I can make another toon go permanently sad.. Both computers, my hubby gets no laff regeneration at all and there are others having the same issue in the playground... My sister committed toonicide and was able to get laff.

That was happening with a friend today... I had a 10 TU unte and used it... it allowed them to leave the playground (PG) and heal at home... they still wouldn't heal in the PG that they were SAD in. They could / would heal in a different PG.

Yes!! This happened to me. I had exited TT after going sad earlier in the day. Then when I logged back on later, I was in the PG at DG and getting no TU points. I called for help/advice/ideas ...from my friends online; Daisy185 and Varmit. They both came to my rescue. One of Varmits toons had a tu unite phrase for ten points. It was the only thing that worked. Thanks my friend, you are my hero!!
Unfortunately I was unable to play any after they had helped me and then off to work I had to go. Was really strange tho to see other toons getting their tu points and be stuck bent over like that...OUCH!!

I am still getting the "toontown not available " before finally getting logged in. When I go to my estate now I land in the middle and have no house or doodles.
Ugh!!!

Well they didn't fix the sad bug. Was with my best friend from Cali and she went sad on the top floor of the building we were in. I finished, got out and went to her. She was stuck and I had to log on to my other toon to TU unite her and get her going again. I was really careful after that about her lps.
Other fun things I experienced on open today:
Gag glitch-finished a DA went and got gags and headed back in. No one checked me and I got in with what I was left after the first run. Glad it was Office C and we had barrels plus a few SOS's to keep me going to the end. Thanks Superdad and McNerd for having the patience with me on that run.
Also had several people get 'stuck' after exitting the elevator doors in the DA's office. Happened to my brother and it looked like his puter had been slimed by the little green guy from Ghost Busters.
Estate hill, no houses and doodles disappearing.
One cog coming unlured with goggles. Now this is wild to me and it was even happenning on test. But one cog after 1 maybe 2 rounds and usually a level 8 would come unlured, but the 10's and 11's would stay. Weird.
Microsoft error message and kicked me out twice.
My favorite I haven't seen in a while...negative bounce back on the juggling balls. Part cause of earlier saduality along with all 4 cogs whomping her.
Needless to say the guys at tech support aren't happy with me today and amazingly enough no driver canned response either. The latest and greatest 'We are aware of the problem and will be fixing it in a future update.'
I think I'll stick with test for a while or wonder if I'm being punished for playing test too much. There I just have to avoid buildings on Polar Place <shudder>

I believe it's when you use TU, sometimes it works, then you lose laff.

Got the 'Toontown unavailable, still trying' message several times last night. Once, even when switching toons!
The disappearing houses seems to unnerve people

Granny's got it. It was real bad about a year ago. When you would use juggling balls (never seen it happen on another tu) it would toon up everyone full. Then right before the cogs hit you, you would see a -something in red and take some or all of the points away. If you got the minus then took hits from the cogs you were back sad in the playground. It would even have dire effects on the 100+ lp toons sometimes losing more lp than they gained from the tu. It caused a major problem in the VP and we got to a point we were afraid to use them. Our solution was a cane dance-juggling ball combo, so it wouldn't 'overtune' those getting healed. Just wondering if one of the programmers plugged an old tu program as a quick fix to the permanent sad issue and brought this one back.

Thanks for the explanation all!
Sheesh, this is getting scary! Tune up, lose double laff next round, call doodle, he doesn't show, go sad, can't regenerate any laff, call friend with a tow tu, go home to get beans, land in the middle of your estate, can't find your house, only to realize you don't have one!
Did I miss anything? lol
