Loopy Fancy is on mint duty.. And as per usual whenever she has to run 8900 weird things happen.

Here's the scenario. Arrive at the mint and basically no one is there. Finally two arrive and it appears we are all fine going short. At the last minute a toon hops on who is a little laff challenged, Ok alot challenged, she had 26 lp armed with a squirt gun and fruit pie. Upon the first battle she annouces she needs more gags and hangs back, she proceeds to do this throughout the mint saying things like lets work together and good teamwork etc.. She finally engages at the super after we sound the 11's away and got her one gag in, her fruit pie of course!

So whats the point, why in the world would you follow toons around in the mint? I thought maybe she was there for the restocks, but one of the kind toons I was with used a gag up all for us since everything was missing and she still stayed. I can certainly think of better things to do with my time.

Any thoughts, Im befuddled!

The only thing I can ever think of is that they think they will get a suit part at the end like in the factory.

I have 2 words for you... Duke Sparklezapper.

Over a year ago (can you believe I still remember his name?) some friends and I found a quiet district to mint in. We were going to be working drop, so we didn't want to deal with randoms, plus it was before major invasions so busy district was not a benefit at the time. We only had 3 of us but we were ok with it. Figured we would take someone if they happened to jump on but no big if we went alone. Duke Sparklezapper jumped on. We land in the mint and find out Duke is 17 laff and has level 3 gags... we figure this will go quick. We get to the first cogs and he says, "Don't wait for me." We killed all the cogs, the whole time saying, "Good teamwork! Great! You guys are great!" and applause. Next cogs, same thing. Every time we needed TU, he applauded and said, "Good teamwork!" We came across a drop barrel, and since we were going to be working a friend's drop, we went back for it... 8 rooms back! When we got to the barrel, one of the girls started telling us about a difficulty she was having. We stood there talking for at least 15 mins before we went back up to the cogs, only to find the Duke sleeping. As soon as we showed up, he woke up, went to the next cogs with us, and started his spiel over again! So he waited while we went back 8 rooms, then waited for us to chit chat for 15 mins, then back up 8 rooms! Next room was the big stomper and alas, we lost poor Duke. We finished our mint, regagged, and waited for each other by the door.

Who showed up? You got it, Duke Sparklezapper! Tped to us and said, "Play again?" He was basically harmless so we didn't care. Whole mint, he again kept up with the, "Good teamwork! You guys are great!" and applauded with every TU. This time we lost him in the paint goo. We were done with mints for the day, but when we landed back in the yard, the Duke was down there battling cogs with other toons!

Does it stop here? No!

Next day, different district, one of the girls from those mints and I both needed bucks again, and this time my friend Mike was with us. We get to the door and who shows up? Yup. Duke! DIFFERENT DISTRICT! We told Mike a brief synopsis and he said to let him join, he didn't care. Again, we only had 3 so no big deal. We board, so does Duke. Now this is where it gets hilarious. First set of cogs, Duke keeps up with the "Good Teamwork!" until I got hit. Mike always used lipstick to single toon and since I was the only one that got hit, Mike put up his lipstick. Duke came UNGLUED! "No!!! Good teamwork! No!!! Stop that!" Next set of cogs, the other girl got hit and Mike tooned her... Duke applauded! "Good teamwork!" Next set, we all 3 got hit, I juggled, and Mike smooched me. "No!!! You should choose a different cog. Stop that!" Next time I needed tooned, we had the girl smooch me... "Good teamwork!" applause! At that point we were all rolling in laughter! This mint, Duke made it all the way to the supervisor! He never joined. When we got to the very last cog, we kept saying, "Meet here. Let's go! Let's battle the cogs!" etc, trying to get him to join, but he refused. After the last cog was spinning, Duke joined our battle and danced with us. Got to the pg and he tped away. We never saw him again.

Ahh, memories. Anyone know Duke? I've always said I'd friend him if I saw him again. Cutest little yellow duck - kinda portly but cute.

I wish our little straggler had been a little more entertaining. While I found the whole thing rather amusing, it really t'd one of my teammates off!

I have never had that happen to me?! But it sure sounds strange and retarted whoever would do that. Sorry you had to go through with it.

Yeah, that does sound really odd. I hate it when people do that. It seems to happen quite often to me when I go in to the Sellbot Factory.

Oh my! Duke Sparklezapper had a crush on you! What are the odds of running into him 2 different days in different districtus?? Honestly, some people have too much time on their hands! I'm so focused on tasks (or bucks or notices) that I can't spare barely a moment away
