Last night in Funnyfield I got my first GOLD STAR!
We've been rushing through DDL tasks trying to get our cash suits. If I'm not in the busy district I always work in Funnyfield where I have had a silver star for several weeks. Logging on yesterday I saw that after our late night Friday, my friend Shadowfax had a gold and I was only 3 behind! So the race was on...by the end of the day Shadowfax and Sir Tenderfeet (played by Rubberboots) had spinning gold and Al Hoof (mine) had gold! 
Thanks to Superstink (Granny MoMo) and Dee Coy (Calamity) for helping us breeze through buildings. Whee! 
I think Boots said this was his first gold as well. Congratulations! If only I could spin like you.

Congratulalions! But I have one question. If you get a star does it go away right when you log off. Or if you get the silver star, for example, would it stay on forever?

It goes away gradually as the buildings get retaken by the cogs. My gold lasted several days as I kept doing buildings there, then slowly died down as I finished my tasks. I can still get a bronze in that district after one or two buildings, though!
