ONE SECRET IS TO NOT TYPE EVERYTHING IN CAPITAL LETTERS.
Just try to be pleasant and sometime someone will ask you.

What Bionicel said is true but didn't expand on. Writing in CAPS makes it appear you are yelling-meaning it is the accepted lingo for a yell online.
People will secret friend someone who appears to be fun through speed chat, or just because they try to SF everyone they encounter.
Several ways
1) PM each other a code on a fan site
2) If you are friends, say to the person "please be my friend" and then type gipperish.
from here you can SF by using speed chat and jumping, rearrange furniture/ pictures at your estate or maybe there is another way I don't know
Hope that helps

I would definitely try to play a bit with a toon before SFing them. I have had some random SF go very badly. On the other hand, I have had some that have gone great! It took me a while before I understood the Speedchat/jumping codes (Queen Purplewhip helped me out on that!!). I think that is the easiest way, except that you have to find a nice code for it.

What i do is get people i know in real life (friends, family) and ask them to play TT and then become secret friends! It's actually very simple all you do is if you have a friend and they dont live with you (obviously) talk on the phone and tell them the secret you get!

This is how I make sfs. Say your code is "hcb ybc" You say to the person "hi" for h, "can you help me" for c, "by" for b, and so on. Some how adults get this easily. Make sure there are no numbers! Will that help you?
P.S. I have done this before.
