After noticing a update when Toontown finished loading, I rechecked the front page and didn't see any mention of the new gags. After doing gardening I happened to look at the my gags and saw the spot for 7th gags. It has been released to Open, but still don't see many maxed Toons with level 7 gags. After getting Nicole ready for school I signed back in and still no mention of the release?

Hmmmm... would that be on purpose on Disney's part? Maybe they plan on making an announcement and posting it later?

It's in the release notes:
October 25, 2006 [sv1.0.23.9] - Stock up for battle with seven ultra-Toontastic new gags: High Dive, Train Track, Presentation, Opera Voice, Wedding Cake, Geyser, and Ocean Liner!
- Each Level 7 gag is unlocked once you've maxed out at 10,000 skill points on that gag track.
- Unlike other gags, Level 7 gags are only awarded once you earn 500 additional skill points.
- Each time you want to use a Level 7 gag, you will need to re-earn these skill points.
- You can also plant one of these special gags in your Estate's garden.
They will probably announce it a little later on the front page.

Logged in and got Aunt Trixie her level 7 gags. I planted the Toontanic Boat. My organic piano does more damage than the boat does. 187 to the boat 180. I wonder how much more damage I'll get after the tree blooms.
Gotta do some house cleaning and then Zippy will her her 7's!

Drat - I've been stalling on digging up Ricky's trees and replanting. He originally planted sound, but sound is just too easy to get the 500 skill back on. Do we know that if you've grown an organic gag, can you pick it daily?
Woo hoo! Can't wait to get home and get those level 7s.
One nice thing about those level 7s - no more wondering "Is that toons cake maxed?"

Good point, Heather!
So the boat only does 180 damage?? Gee, that's disappointing, even if it does work on ALL cogs!

Well, since no one will have level 7s blooming until the 30th (29th if you got on really late the night they installed the 7s), we can't know for sure that we will be able to pick the 7s daily. I do know that we can pick all others daily. I tested that one for myself. I picked my fog one day, and was able to pick it the next day. I have rethought my gag trees also, and agree that the sound one is just too easy to regain the exp, and actually went to open (aghast!) and dug up my sound trees and planted trap to level 7. I also do know that you do NEED to lure for the train to hit, (he hee ouch, sorry guys) tested that too. The organic train should take out a row of 12s with the organic bonus, but we won't know that for sure until they bloom. The boat does hit all cogs, as do all the other attack gags. The TU works the same as other TU, not affecting the toon that is using it.

So far the bonus patter is 10% rounded down with a minimum of 1 so I guess the boad will be 198.

I was thinking that exact same thing this morning! My son and I share a 59 lp toon with everything but TU maxed and I love that people will now be able to tell so just by looking at his gags! No more wondering if someone's an uber or not either~Woo Hoo!!

Edit: forget the first sentence - D'oh! I was thinking GEYSER...why, I don't know (the old fart factor again )
Here's a question - in a building not every cog gets the lure bonus, so how will that work? Will they all get or not get the bonus, or will some still get it and some not?
I have sound planted on a couple of toons and will keep it that way, simply because 2 organic fogs will take out level 10 cogs and that is most useful to me at the moment. I will probably plant something different later - I just tore out my sound and planted throw on Lady Z after recently seeing how handy the organic cake was for a 4 man CFO.

I am replacing my grove of sound trees because it wasn't a SINGING PIG.
Pretty happy with 1-trapper, 2-droppers and 2-thrower grove of trees on open.
I like the Geyser because I like the animation. So I planted 2 groves of squirt.
I'm not keen on level 7 TU or Lure trees.
Can you plant Lvl 7 tree on open today? I'm at work and haven't tested it.
I think back in Oct 7-8th you could plant level 7 tree on test, right?
Level 7 gags will definitely change Uber play. It has already changed how I play boss fights and 2 toon mints/DA's.
Be interesting to see how this works out.

Soooo, which gag track should my sell uber plant? At the moment he has started planting lure but should I rethink that to throw? I planted sound on my cash uber but not sure about that choice anymore either. TOO many choices!!!

I had lure planted on Test and really did NOT notice much difference at all. Lure either hits or it misses. I have drop, sound, throw, and some squirt planted on Open, so we'll see how it goes when the level 7 trees bloom.

This is so awesome! When I come to the TTF run tonight, I'll be bringing my Opera Singer... Isn't it awesome? At 60 Laff, I got the Opera Singer during a Telemarketer Invasion! This is the first step to becoming even greater than my former 104 Laff glory!
Anyone else notice the unsynchronysation of the Sound track? It's annoying me... Why didn't you people at Test report this?

I really don't know exactly what you're talking about, but personally I like what they've done to it. I'm sure anyone else who was annoyed by it on test DID report it, and of course there's nothing to stop YOU from doing so now that it's on open!

Can anyone tell me how many hit points the "Train" for trap causes? Or how many rounds the Lure will last? The "goggles" last for 4 rounds, is the chart for 5 or still at 4 rounds?

To LadyZ: Already done. The damage doesn't seem to synchronise with the sound of the Sound gags past the first one used anymore. If four different gags are used and the Foghorn is the last one, you're likely to duck and cover with the megaphone still in your hands and the sound still to come. That's right, the Foghorn megaphone no longer shrinks to a pinprick and disappears! It just stays in your hand and somehow disappears into the next dimension instantaneously!
