Legal Eagle or Mingler?

Miss Independent is at the end of Daisy's Garden (where IS Daisy?! Rolling Eyes

) and has to do the dreaded teleport access toontask. Which cog is easiest to find for a DG toon, the legal eagle or mingler? And 1 more question... where is the best place to find them??? Any ideas is appreciated! Very Happy

I have never been able to pick one task over the other. I have found that whatever is offered by the first HQ officer is what is offered by all of them.

If you are able to pick go Mingler. If you have problems getting them in a building you can always come to the TTF VP run on Monday, Wednesday or Friday to get them.

I just finished that task on a future cashbot uber. I picked "for fun" tasks until I got the Mingler selection! You will find Minglers aplenty on Oak street, and can even double up with your "defeat a cog factory" task for 80 jellybeans, since about 1 factory in 3 has a Mingler (the supervisor is occasionally a Mingler, too).

Legal Eagles can be found on Maple Street, but you won't find nearly as much good help on Maple Street. On Oak, you'll find decently big toons who just need a few merits for a promotion. About the only toons on Maple are toons who just started Daisy's Gardens and need to defeat 20 cogs on Maple Street. Not nearly as helpful when it comes to defeating big buildings.

If you have plenty of good, fairly big friends it's not a big difference, but I'd still go Mingler over Legal Eagles.

Took me NINE Minglers to get the second key, though!

I just finished that task on my son's toon. I took the minglers on my toons and hated it. It took me forever to get the key. For his toon I took the Eagle's got the first key in the first building I did. The second I took him to Dreamland in a lvl 4 building and got the second key.

I found eagles to be easier in general on my many toons. You can get a choice if you look long enough.

As far as I can tell, it's pretty random when you get it. I haven't found Eagles easier to find than Minglers, and Minglers weren't that hard to track down. Most 4 story buildings in DG have one. Got the first key on the first Mingler--it just took a bunch of Minglers to get the 2nd key.

If you have a 2nd account--or a couple VERY large friends and can venture into DDL, then either task is quite simple. If you have good friends, not sure there's a major difference. Legal Eagles might even be easier in that case since Polar Place is chock full of them.

If you're working mostly with randoms, or friends of similar size, I like the Mingler task still.

owoooo. I'd take a Mingler task over a Legal Eagle task any day of the week. They're so easy to find in the VP. And the 10 ice cream cones from Mr. Hollywoods - 1 VP and I got them all!

Did you find your Minglers yet? I find that one Four story building in DDL will usually do it for me. If you still don't have it by this evening IM me or post here and I would be more than happy to help you get it.

I tend to take as many sellbot tasks (minglers, factories....) as I can while I'm developing my toons, and then I do factory after factory after factory. (all the while using ALL my gags and gag building).

It works well for me because I run multiple toons, if you can't then get a friend who needs merits and hop on with them.

my 2ndary toon named wesley got the key to daisy gardens from leagle eagles on the 2nd try. it was in donalds dock and all the toons needed to get the DG key from legalegels

I have always found legal eagles harder. I just spent 4 days looking for a key on my puppy from eagles - from DD to DDL, 3story buildings to 5. I can't count how many eagles refused to give that key up! Finally got it on day 5 after a couple of DA offices with my 45lp puppy. What got me was that we went in as a group of 4 friends (with maxxed gags) to A. No one else at that elevator. No one causing any shuffle what-so-ever and the toons from D just had to run over and stink us and tell us to go away. A special thanks to 15lp Birthday Pony for making it so much fun!
