I hesitated posting anything about my RB50 on Little Dizzy, but this run was so special to me that I couldn't resist. My very best friend in all of Toontown ran all of my last bucks with me (on his 128 laff mind you). By the time we finished, it was nearly midnight central time. No friends were on. Then I get this IM:

I cannot think of a better way to have done this cfo... 2 man with my very best friend. You see, to some of us, this silly game is more than a silly game, and spending time with friends is dear to us. I wanted to share some fun screenshots with my other TT friends to remind us all why we play this game. It isn't about the cards, the gags, the promos, or the strategy. Before you view any pictures, just know that I went in with (2) TU10, (1) TU20, (1) TU40, and (1) Flippy. These and an unreliable doodle were my chances at toon up. I used all 5 unites, flippy, gag up throw, squirt, and drop. And my doodle worked (jump and play dead only) 8 out of 13 times. The only level 7 gag I used was presentation, which held 12 turns.

Poor Doug kept getting whispers from friends giving him grief about helping me in mint all day. You see, I did a CFO before he logged on, then when he came on he helped me get my 3820, then we CFO'ed and he helped me get my 8900. So we were literally there all day! But he insisted on bringing Skipper in case we couldn't get an invasion. I told him Dizzy could call, but he wouldn't hear of it.

For those of you that don't have the pleasure to know Doug, he is the kindest and most generous toon you will ever meet. I frequently see posts or receive pms from people that either saw us playing together or saw a screenshot with him in it, telling "their story" of how much he helped them. I always read these pms and posts with a sense of "Big Sister Pride" and yet, every time I tell him about how much someone else adores him, he waves it off saying it was, "No big thing." Doug can't stand to tell anyone, "No" so when these friends were asking him to play with them instead, the idea that he kept telling them no so he could do mints with me still amazes me. If he runs past a building and a toon whispers, "Can you help me?" he will drop everything and do that building with that toon. Doug has about 400 unites and 100 cards, and only uses them in emergency situations because he doesn't want to risk not having them when necessary. That said, when we finished my last mint, I briefly considered asking him to do a 2 man but then decided not to because I know how much his cards and unites mean... they aren't for saving himself, they are for saving other people. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised when he asked me! It was so out of character for him! I was pretty sure (I was right) he had never done a 2 man before, not because of lack of skill but because he hates to use his prizes on himself.

About the treasure circle, if you are ever craning take a look around. The treasures ALWAYS land in a circle on one specific side, and the other 3 sides they just land wherever. I'm not quite sure of the treasure circle phenomenon, but I noticed it almost a year ago and it has ALWAYS been so.

Last thing... that last scene warms my heart, too, more than you can imagine. It's amazing, isn't it, how close we become to these people we call, "Toons"? Doug truly is like a baby brother and is definitely a friendship I never expected. If I could adopt him, I would. My kids love to play with him, my daughter wanted to change her middle name to Doug, and even my husband asks about him. How is it that these people we meet online in a game can mean so much to us?
