Hi everyone,
Some of you know about the frustration we've had over the past week due to getting an unexpected dump of a foot or more of snow. Well, yesterday morning we suffered our first real casualty when Audrey slipped on our icy driveway and broke her ankle. She needs minor surgery to insert a small plate to hold the pieces of bone together so it can heal properly, and therefore spent the night in the hospital. This is normally done as day surgery, but there's quite a wait for the operating rooms and she keeps her spot higher on the list as long as she stays as an admitted patient. At this point we don't know if the surgery will happen today or tomorrow. The good news is the doctor says it's a "good" break, meaning it should heal fine without any lasting problems.
Thought you'd all want to know, and wish her well when you see her online again.
I also thought it might be nice if those of you who have her toons on your lists might want to send flowers to her mailboxes - hee hee. Her toons on open are: Lady Melody Petalface, Miss Calculation, and Purple Monkey (as yet unnamed). Her toons on test are: Cat Astrophe, Lil Piglet, and Cordelia.
Prayers are welcome from those of you so inclined.

Ohhh, Audrey, I'm so sorry to hear that you have broken your ankle.  I wish you a speedy recovery, and I'm sure that a lot of TT is in order!!  Now, Kevin, I know you'll take good care of her...I already know that you're a great cook, so we know she'll be well fed! Hmmmmm...I hope you can take care of the cleaning and everything else just as good as the cooking!

Awww poor thing! Add it to the list of crappy things about snow and winter! Hope she can get the surgery out of the way and come home to all that pampering you plan on giving her. (don't forget the chocolate! HEY! Why are you on here? You should be out buying all her favorite things to have in the house! Don't forget the massage oil. Diamonds work too  Get going....hurry)!
Have a few of her toons on my lists. Will see if I can find anything comforting to send her.

Once she gets the pesky surgery out of the way, I'm sure the fastest road to recovery is sitting with her foot propped up in front of the computer! :

Kevin is there anyway that you could post a few codes so anyone else could send her some flowers?
I think I have some lovely flower arrangements in my cattlelog. I think more toontown play is exactly what I would order and I am a Doctor. Well I did stay in a holiday express once. Well maybe it would be better put to say. I play one on toontown.

Thanks for the warm wishes everyone. Audrey is still in the hospital as they weren't able to get her surgery done today. She's finally being moved to a real hospital room though. She's been in the ER all this time, except last night - she had to sleep in the hall! So getting a room for tonight is a big improvement. She's understandably bored and wants to come home, but her surgery is tentatively scheduled for 10:00 tomorrow morning. Hopefully that will work out and I'll be able to bring her home tomorrow afternoon.
Don't count on her having a whole lot of extra TT time though. She still needs to walk the dog, finish shovelling the snow, and climb the ladder to put up our Christmas lights. Think I'll send her out to get some groceries too - the food choices are getting slim around here.
Ja Ja Ja, just kidding. We'll take good care of her.
With luck the next update will be from her.

Well I went go buy Audrey something this morning and the only problem is this. SHE HAS NO ROOM for me to buy her anything! LOL well that really is not a problem. Evidently Yall have bought her everything form Cannons to Flowers. GOOD WORK, Now she can solve that annoying question. Just how much stuff can you save in your mailbox. LOL I tried Kevin I really did ,, Ill be sure to send her something as soon as their is room.
