The other night, I took my 6 y/o in for a VP...he's a CC4. It was mostly randoms, but we had a few other toon friends there. One that was a random, was (not so)Fabulous Frank. Beware this toon! Rotten little blue mouse. He was griefing people, and ultimately made everyone go sad, due to his incessant passing, etc. As an adult, it really made me mad, because I lost all my level 7 gags. Luckily, they all only needed a point to be restored. But it really upset my wee one. I don't understand WHY some people feel the need to be so cruel to other toons, especially given that Toontown is, and always will be, geared toward children. His behavior certainly says a lot about him...especially given that it is a child's game! Sick sick sick. Just a heads up.

I'm sorry you had to experience FF while with your child also. There are a few toons that I have on a list stickied to my niece's computer of who she MAY not play with, and he is on it. I think that there are "parents and pups" battles set up on this site where people take members children thru safely. Lady Z is in charge of them if my memory serves me correctly, but if you would like some people to just go with her sometime, please just post it. I would even go to open to help someone's kid VP, and I'm sure I could find you a few other body guards. I remember my niece's first VP was with all friends of mine, on their 50s, and she missed one jump and EVERYONE ran over to pie her. It was, and is, how TT should be. (eeeek did i just say I'd go on OPEN??? GASP)

That really does stink... I would also be MORE than happy to accompany your son through a VP. Just post here and you'll probably have to ward off all the toons that would be willing to help and assure he comes through smiling ear to ear!

Yes, I will be forming another Parent and Pups run soon! But sure, anytime, my favorite thing to do is to play WITH kids in this kids game, and most of my friends feel the same way. So if you'd like to try to set something up, we can do that! Now, if SKIP says he's willing to go to OPEN, I would jump on that if I were you!
It's sad but I also have certain toons even in the CCG that my child is not to go with because they are known for their cruel comments and expectations of perfection. They may not grief to the extent that FF does but they can still bring a child to tears. It's one of my worst pet peeves ever... I'm very sorry your child had to experience that and would be more than happy to see that his next run is a pleasant experience!

What IS it with rotten toons?? The aforementioned wee one, has another toon, quite small, only 18 laff. (Come on...we ALL have more than one toon...admit it! ;o) ) Anyhow, he was fishing in TTC, and these other 2 toons came up to him, and started griefing him mercilessly. I don't get it...do these people get off on such bad behavior? Are their lives that awful that their only thrills of the day are to torment other toons? Cheesy pete, the bad behavior of some toons over the past few days, is really enough to turn me off TT! Thankfully, there are awesome toons like you all out there! FTR, if anyone is interested, here are the names of the other two bullies:
Doctor Rainbow-103-pink girl rabbit
Skippy-103-blue boy mouse
Beware these two as well, evidently!
Although, I must admit, I did take screen-shots of these two brats. And, I got on MY big toon...and before long, they left the area. >;oD

Seems no matter where you go or what you are doing (or not doing) a higher level toon AKA BULLIES, like to talk "crap." Funny how TT kinda emulates real life, eh? But for some reason, some of the "bullies of the playground" in RL school, never have made anything of themselves and have to pick on kids here. Pitty them. Feel sorry for them. Stay clear of them. When all else fails, take a screen shot and "Tell the Teacher." (Disney admin). I'll admit I was no princess growing up, but the difference is I DID GROW UP. Oh well... There will always be schnitzleheads. In the VP, no, not a whole lot you can do. But on the playground, KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS... "You Look Nice." "You Rock" "Are you trying to sweet talk me?" "Happy Holidays!" They do get annoyed and leave...Just like in RL.
I went on a smaller toon the other night, seeing that Nuttyriver was open, and thought MAYBE I could score some beans. This toon harrassed me and taunted me (25 laff) even tho I was in the middle of a kajillion other toons jumping like there was no tomorrow. I was just standing, not going to jump and leave...Just hoping for some beans in a beanfest. He taunted, ridiculed, picked on my low toon. Did score some 600 beans woohoo, so signed off and back on with larger toon before the toons who threw left... Wanted to throw them some back...By the time I got signed out, signed back on, the toons were gone... Except the bully.... Oh, yeah, he started psssssting me about how I rock and all... I THINK NOT. I kept my beans, saying "sorry I can't" and "good luck" and "you are awesome."

Not sure if the TTF Runs are good time for you but... these are pretty safe
We run the VP on Mon, Wed & Fri.... just state when you plan on coming or set a time and you will have more than enough help!
We ran into "rotten luck" for a couple days about a year ago....seemed no matter when we logged on to play it put us in an Ugly district with Ugly toons! It was so bad that we took pics and emailed them to the "mouse".
** knocks on wood ** The luck changed and we haven't had the random attacks since...we have once or twice gotten on the wrong elevator to run a factory and a VP... some people just don't like Ubers

Oh, I feel so bad for your little one. That is absolutely awful. I would love to help out your pup in the VP anytime (merits permitting). Also, definitely look into the Parents/Pups run that Lady Z puts together. I have been on a couple of them & they totally rock. Unfortunately, my pup is still too young to participate but I love going as a surrogate.

That is precisely what we did. The last thing I want is my wee one to example the same bad behavior to others. Not that I truly think he would, but 6 y/o's are pretty easily persuaded. And, of course, I took plenty of screen-shots...and sent them along with an email to the 'Big Cheese'. Whether anything will come of it, I doubt, given that Frank has evidently been running around for some time. Then again, I guess the almighty dollar speaks loudly. You know, you'd think TT would consider the fact that there are so many potential customers, and if a parents witnesses such griefing, they might consider twice before actualy plopping down their cold, hard cash. Then again, maybe it's just my mommy-bearness rearing it's head. At any rate, those 3 rotten toons should be very ashamed. No pride comes along with vile, ugly behavior. Golly...can you imagine their own children's behavior?!! YIKES!!!
I will definitely have to look into the Parent and Pup runs...my wee one LOVES doing VP so much.
At any rate, it bears noting again...you all ROCK!

Two things...and this is NOT directed towards you...
I am not suprised to learn that some here have been sfs with him...IN THE PAST. That speaks volumes.
As for interesting?? I'm not so certain my crying 6 year old would share those same sentiments. But hey...as long as Frank gets off on such behavior...on a child's game, no less...who am I to argue, eh?

Aw, I'm so sorry that your little one had such a bad experience. My now 9 year old had a horrible time in random VPs. So, I sent her with the CCG, and she has had pretty good experiences overall. It definitely helped a TON to have her in with a bunch of nice folks. The runs they set up here are always nice... very kid friendly (just a little too late in the evening for my kiddos for the most part). My other 9 year old wants to start trying to fight the VP, and I'm trying to figure out where to put her. She isn't quite as gag-savvy as her sister. I'm afraid people might think she is trying to grief them when she is just a kiddo who doesn't grasp some of the thought going into gag choices. lol! I try to remember that some of the people who are griefing my little toon are probably kids who just stink at the game like my little one. LOL! It is always nice to have that larger toon to pull out of your pocket to come to the aid of the smaller ones, isn't it?! Hope to see you and your wee one around TT!

Well, by "interesting", I meant personally, and in a somewhat sarcastic way. I actually have never once seen any of his bad behavior, although I certainly do believe it exists! If asked about it, which I did once, and others of his sfs have, he will tell you it's his nephew playing, but no one believes that. Anyway his behavior is the reason we know it's pretty much fruitless to try to get anyone banned from TT for behavior. He surely holds the record for bad toon reports.
Basically I was just answering the question about whether he can sf. I haven't seen him in 2 years and don't expect to. Please don't take my statement as any sort of agreement with what he does.

See, that is what I try and do as well. I ALWAYS try to consider that the person on the other end may very well be a wee one. And that is why I play as if they are...with, of course, the exceptions being adults I am sf with. But as a general, I play with other toons, as though they are children. Not-so-fabolous Frank, however, is anything BUT a child. And I hope you never run into him. Toons gone bad, I tell ya!

I kind of figured you did, and thus was why I made a point of noting that my post was in no way directed towards you.

Lucky you!!! He really has done some awful things. I've spoken with a number of friends, who have had run ins with him, and wow...what a jerk!
| Quote: | | If asked about it, which I did once, and others of his sfs have, he will tell you it's his nephew playing, but no one believes that. |
So, a bad toon AND a liar?? LOL!! Why does that not suprise me? Honestly, from a rational standpoint, if it really were his nephew playing, it would be only logical for him to disallow said "nephew" from playing his toon. At the very least. However, he has NUMEROUS toons by same said name, with same behavior. His "nephew" excuse, doesn't wash.
| Quote: | | Anyway his behavior is the reason we know it's pretty much fruitless to try to get anyone banned from TT for behavior. He surely holds the record for bad toon reports. |
I think TT is just so big now, why should Disney care...kwim? I have no doubt new money comes in, in droves daily. And due to this drated addiction...er....love of the game....they will continue to receive mine...for the meanwhile.

I know you were, and truly believe you were in no way defending him. And I do want to say again, that nothing I have said in reply to your posts was directed at you personally. Just venting frustration. And, of course, the mama bear in me comes out when it comes to my wee one.

Ouch! I know what it's like when toons refuse to use gags. Usually, they don't have any because they went sad in sellbot hq and closed toontown instantly. They can explore any place while still being sad Some go into vp battles the minute they have finished tooning up, leaving all the battling up to the others.
