My friend and I did a random CJ last night with one totally awesome Cog stunner. I was able to track this person down on TTC because I wanted some pointers. My friend and I were speechless. Neither of us had ever seen someone stun cogs like this before in any CJ. In one fell swoop, all the cogs were stunned, lol.
Here is the response I received from the PM I sent. I omitted any and all toon names so this person won't get bombarded with PMs, lol.
Hi Smirky,
I enjoyed the CJ with you and your friend last night!
As far as the "run and stun" it's fairly simple once you get the hang of it. I find this is helpful when most of the toons have left to get more evidence and you find yourself alone at the helm, LOL. First you position yourself at one end of the line of cogs and face the first cog aligned at your toon's right shoulder. Move close to this cog ( just close enough that he won't damage you) and simultaneously run (keeping the cogs on your right side) and tap the "insert" key very rapidly. The trick is to stay just barely in front of the row of cogs as you run past them. You will find that if you are throwing the evidence fast enough, that even their outstetched arms won't damage you as you whiz past them. With a little practice you'll be able to stun most of the cogs on one pass and you'll be instrumental in creating the "bonus" for stunning all cogs at once!
A word of caution though...some toons take offense to the fact that you are stunning "their cogs" as you pass! They probably think that you are insinuating that they aren't doing their job or something, Oh well, it's all about team work.
Give it a try and after a few attempts you'll get it down. Just remember to be fast with the trigger finger and run right next to the cogs.
Have fun out ther and I hope to see you and your friend again sometime!
Regards

I've seen toons do something like this but not as successful. If you're running forward, don't you throw forward...or no? I'll be watching for you Sharon...please feel free to double stun MY cogs anytime!
This really sounds so helpful, I know I could have used something like this at the 7pm run the other nite. There were were sadualties all around and I didn't have a single unite. We all went sad.... *sniff...sniff*

Sharon I tried it at the 6 central cj tonight and it worked. The first time I was aligned wrong but the second time I hit everyone and got a 20 sec bonus. The third time I ran out of evidence and only stuned 8. I had 2 sf on this run and one saw it work when I did it. She tried it also and it worked for her but I dont know if she got the 20 sec bonus. I was amazed when I saw that toon do it last night and figured a big dumb horsey would have know chance of doing it. Maybe I just got lucky but it is cool. BTW I waited untill the pan was well down before trying it.

Wowsers, second try and you got them all. You are a very fast learner friend. I can't wait to try this myself now. I missed the last CCG CJ and didn't want to go random alone, lol. Now you can show all of us how to do it Steve. I sure hope we run into this guy again at another CJ.
