I just resorted to ditching a toon in the factory....something I haven't done before unless I went sad. But this toon was getting on my nerves already...At first they wouldn't use toon up on me...they were a 114 laff so I was thinking that they would be able to handle getting me thru the factory alive. They would need to toon me up since I was on my 54 laffer. They finally did when I said I need more laff points and can u help me? So after that I figured that I would stay since they tooned me up. Well we kept going on and eventually they acted as though they were stuck...then wouldn't answer me at all. So I went to restock on gags, and they started to say let's meet in the warehouse and here girl....so I went to the warehouse and we then went on to the east silo...I waited for him to lure because he hadn't tooned me up again and if lure missed I would be toast. After we got those we went to the other set of cogs and that is when everything got really strange. This toon literally stood there staring at me. lol...I was not going to battle those cogs by myself with 30 something laff and no lure. Anyways to make a long story short we stood there staring at eachother for about 10 minutes...then finally he decided to go battle the cogs. Instead of using a good lure, he used a bill leaving two other cogs to hit me and kill me perhaps. I managed to survive thru that. Ok so I am thinking we are the end I have been in this a long time already I might as well go on...so I walk to the center silo to continue, and low and behold the toon won't go through the doors. It's as though they are waiting for me to go first....which I don't want to do and risk going sad or worse yet having the toon ditch me. So we sat there again staring at eachother. I had enough by this point and I left. I couldn't take it anymore lol...Anyways I wanted to post it on here to warn anyone else with lower laff toons to beware of this toon...
Who knows this may have been a child....still weird though

One possibility is that the toon was waiting for an invasion. Were you in Nutty River or Nutty Summit? Most of the time if that's the case the toon will say "Wait a minute" and hang around using silly speedchat and emotes. Did you ask "What's up" or anything to see why he was waiting? Was he out of multiple lure? Could RL have been keeping him afk? Could it have been a kid? Just throwing out some benefit of the doubt possibilities.
If you're sure his intent was to let you go green . . . hasn't sugar been to vp a few times? How are her gags? Got a Bessie in those cards of yours? If not, let's work on that . If I was in that situation, I think I would have wandered on in and used a Bessie or level7 throw before that toon had time to know what hit him .

wasn't that because there was an invasion when the toon started staring at me and waiting for something to happen lol and it had just started when we were at the other silo....so they couldn't have been waiting for an invasion they were just standing there because they wanted to....lol...strange.
I agree with the benefit of the doubt. This toon I was on had not vp'd before, so I had no sos cards or anything. Sugar is my toon on test. I thought that it might be real life also that was keeping the toon waiting...but the way they would stand there...fall asleep...come back and then not say a word at all....move around a bit....then come back again...then say let's go....then stand there...then walk to the dorrs like they were going in, and then move back out of the doors.....I don't know made me think it could've been a kid as I mentioned the first time....i'll never know. Whatever the case just be careful if u are in a factory with this toon...It has multiple personalities lol....

just so you know, invasions don't affect factories, mints, DAs, or boss fights, so unless some awesome toontown player let his little brother (who didn't know that) try out his toon, I think he was just trying to get you to leave and let him hog the experience points. He could have also been just some 5-year-old who got a hold of the computer when nobody was watching. (believe me, my 2-year-old sister can start toontown and play somewhat if you let her)

Actually - invasions do effect a factory, mint, and da. You get double the merits, bux, or notices if you wait to engage the foreman, supervisor (or da guy) while in an invasion.

Must of been the "bears gone crazy" night!
I get done soloing factory on Bongo (uber) and I hit the pit. I see / hear...Help!...heck still have some big gags plus TU & Lure so I go help...why?... I don't why but I do Another toon joins in too or got caught coming from Oak street since we are right there. Light Blue Bear "Fiddletoes" 84 laff....he is down to 80...Oh No! The other toon and him take out the level 4 cog...working drop... I dance (cane). Another cog joins in and so does a mid to high laff toon. One tries to Lure and the Bear drops the new one Throws.. I TU again since the new one is down a little...heck...invasion...might as well work the level 7 TU points. 2 more cogs join us.... I pick Goggles to help the Lure worker and Bear says lets use sound so out come the fog and ele from the other 2. Both Lures miss...Bear starts with Ha Ha! multiple times and speed chats along with other sayings that he is happy that our gags failed. Then while we danced I get "Good Grief" over and over while my toon is shown plus some other statements. *** I know long story but hang on there is more ***
I run back into pit for 'safety' and the bear stands there and gets caught again and yells "Help" and a toon joins in and so do I ... 'Lets Use Drop' sings the Bear . So they pick Drop...I pick last and Lure ..Lure Hits and drop misses...Now that is a "Good Grief".... I then "Run"....quick way to get to Daisy Garden when you don't have TP access. I did feel bad for the other toon but that bear just rubbed me the wrong way...I think this is the first time I have actually Griefed a stranger. I don't think the Bear liked Ubers

SERIOUSLY!?! I never noticed that! (probably because I haven't needed enough merits to not get it maxed out without the invasion). I need to do more VP's...

Oh yeah! The first time you get the big number of merits (and the dreaded 5500), you'll be waiting on that invasion for sure! Cutting the number of factories (or mints or DAs) is half is worth waiting 5 minutes or so.

Amen to that, Sandra!! I remember the "old school" days of running factories (without the invasions) when the cogs were higher levels and having to do those endless runs! "Kids these days... don't know how good you got it..."
