The lag is bad....i expect it is a server issue as it has been there since day one (along with the frequent disconnects!). I finally had my name approved....its only been three weeks Rolling Eyes

Oh well, it is a beta and in the beginning stages at that.... As for crew of one...are you talking about your ship?

By the way, the really need to do some serious work on this game if they expect to compete with the other mmo big boys....it has potential tho...

That's probably cuz they were trying to flood the servers. It worked. Was kicked off a zillion times. Lag was horrible but some things were fixed (finally)! Normally there are like 20some people per server but tonight one server had over 300. Ahhh don't get too attached to your pirate....they tend to go poof when you least expect it.....

Yup, both my pirates had been deleted, but they hadn't progressed very far. Was Soooo lagged! froze or was kicked off so that it became impossible to play, it was like trying to move in DDL in nutty river before they stopped the jumping toons!

LOL Besides Ventrilo, Teamspeak, and all those others that I rarely use (way too much multitasking for me in toontown while running two toons).......Is there an easier way to chat besides opening your journal and then clicking on the pirate thingy? I tried just typing--nothing happened and tried to click on the speak tab but all that happened is my character moved. Then, my other question is----how do I arm my weapon thingy? I used it once to kill a skeleton and now I can't get the weapon back...says I need more training or something like that. I'm such a NOOB---totally confused and running all over the place with no idea what I am suposed to do!

Nanner.....my character is pretty trampy looking too. She is presently hunting down sailors or navy guys. Can't remember why, but I can only imagine!

To get your weapon just hit F1 (or F2 or F3...depending on weapon and where it is located) You can put it away the same way. To talk you hit the little round buttons on the mid left hand side (I think they have pirate faces on them) to make yourself stop moving and to be able to use your mouse for stuff just hit J.

I'm finding today my "radar" and going through doors, being able to see weapons on bottom left squares etc is freezing me up....again. That usually means it is time to make a new pirate and start over....SIGH!

Just how do you figure out how many people are on the servers? And which one you are on?
