TO ANY ONE I HAVE FOUGHT WITH AND LEFT UNEXPECTEDLY, I AM TRULY SORRY, IT WAS NOT MY INTENTION TO LEAVE I WANT TO STAY AND FIGHT COGS, MY COMPUTER HAS BEEN GIVING ME TROUBLE AND KICKS ME OFF LINE. I LOST SOME FRIENDS BECAUSE OF THIS HAPPENING IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE IN CASH BOT HEAD QUARTERS, AND I AM SAD. IT BOTHERS ME BECAUSE ALL I CAN SAY AS FAR AS CHAT IS SORRY I HAD TO LEAVE UNEXPECTEDLY, AND YOU DON'T REALLY KNOW WHY. MY COMPUTER IS SLOWING DOWN ON ME AND SOMEDAYS I CAN'T GET ON AT ALL. SO PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF WE HAD FOUGHT IN A BATTLE AND I HAD TO LEAVE UNEXPECTEDLY. SOMETIMES I AM ABLE TO COME BACK ON AND THEN SOMETIMES, NOT AT ALL FOR AWHILE.
THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING, I HATE LOOSING MY FRIENDS. IF WE SHALL MEET AGAIN IN TOONTOWN I HOPE YOU WILL BECOME MY FRIEND AGAIN. MISS ROSIE RUFFLEGLOOP.

I encountered the "disconnect" problem when a friend of mine started playing ToonTown!

If your computer is constantly disconnecting you from ToonTown, go to this forum......ToonTown Central Forums. (I am sure that one of the more experienced "posters" here will post the exact message thread I am talking about) Anyway.....there is a process called "port forwarding" or "port triggering" that has fixed many disconnect problems. I speak from experience, 2 of my friends kept getting booted JUST LIKE YOU! They each did the "port forwarding" thing and WHAM-O....NO MORE DISCONNECTS!

Also.....check the "technical support" threads here at ToonTown Friends. I think the above website and exact message I am talking about may be posted there! As far as other things you can do to help your gameplay......update your video card drivers(do this ONE TIME!..No matter what Disney Tech Support Says.....LOL), free up your computers RAM by exiting "background" programs on your computer and close out every program except for ToonTown when you play. Closing your browser and restarting the computer after a few hours of play isn't a bad idea either.

No worries! It seems everyone has at least one funny (or not so much) story about having to leave suddenly or unexpectedly. I think we all know computers are fickle creatures that like to go down at the most inopportune times. What is your funniest disconnect story?

I was running a 5 story building in DDL and during the middle of the 4th floor I get the black screen with the "your connection to the servers has been broken unexpectedly". It wasn't especially windy, and we weren't having severe storms or anything, but sure enough my wireless router is dead. Come to find out my cat, looking for the warm spot in the room, decided to park herself on the vent behind the couch, the only problem is the power strip that runs the internet stuff is right along there and she managed to hit the off switch just as she was settling in. Needless to say I was not pleased. I did have a good laugh about that one though. My husband decided that the cats were in league with him, and wanted me off the computer for a while...

Yes, follow the advise of Matt (bugaboodan.) The port triggering helped me immensely. I stopped being able to go into and mints or boss battles. And don't forget to update your drivers- hahahaha!

PS- When you type in all caps it is meant as yelling in internet chat. We all know you aren't yelling at us, but some others might not know.
