As little as 15, as many as 50. Up to you.
A 15 laff uber will only be able to carry 2 gag tracks, you have to get to at least 25 laff to get the 3rd track, and at least to 34 to carry the 4th track.
This doesn't mean you have to have the minimum laff for the gags that you carry. For example, Princess Ladybug Bagletoes is a 4 track uber with 43 laff. Stop at 45 at least so that you'll still only be 50 when you max sell. The main thing is, get those gags maxed!
2 ways to go about it . . . start your uber with 15 laff and see how frustrated you get going green all the time. Grow it up to the next level if you get too frustrated. Or, start with a 4 track uber that is much less risky, then make a new toon with lower laff once you decide that it's not enough of a challenge anymore.
Note: There are some 50 laff ubers out there with all 6 tracks, but Disney won't let toons do that any more

I hate trying to do an uber. I may do it one day but most likely no. It must be really hard to stay alive while in a VP with a laff of 30. How do you people do it?

Teamwork!
Uber Tuesday runs are the highlight of my week! That's where I find the best players and the best teamwork.
It is a thrill dancing with 7 other ubers.

My 25 laff uber is my favorite toon and is already a HW. I love going into a building and being told "I think this is too difficult for you". Just make sure your three gags are maxxed. Sound works well as your third gag in factories. Most toons want to get those Merits fast. I tried a 15 laffer but that was too frustrating for me. One hit from cogs and your a goner. Lots of TTF’ers willing to help on the All Uber runs. You should try these. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been save by a generous TTF’er with a last minute Unite.
Good Luck and have Fun.

Great gags! I still haven't maxed mine on my main toon. That avatar is cool, and so are those purple hats!

I think for your 1st Uber you might want 25 or more laff since a single cog can make you go sad in the VP. (those nasty Mingler or Skelecog -24 attacks).

Yes Akon, you would be wise to listen to Littlespike. He is very wise in all things Uber.
He also holds the position of Supreme Grand Pupa in the organization GOM (Grumpy Old Men). I’m it’s only other member and hold no position. Littlespike won’t let me.

Im so excited about my recent anointment and all the honors that come with it. But I’m confused. What are the CITO stick (a stick with a nail in the end) and all the Trash bags for?

Oh Great & Grand Pupa. May I ask a question of the All Knowing and Wise One?
What percent does Sound hit? I was on a run the other night (I saw Black Licorice at the run) with other Sell Ubers with sound as their third gag. I thought, “What a waist not to use sound. So I talked the other toons into trying sound. It missed all but one time. Nobody went sad but it was close. We were lucky the four cogs went for the big toon. If I remember correctly sound has the highest percentage of a hit. I thought it would be a good risk. Now I think other wise. Also because I was carrying so much sound I ran out of gags in the Skelly round. I do wish I could figure out a Sound strategy for little toons.
Sound is still good at stunning.

It seems the percentages/accuracy of gags is over a huge period and only applies to maxed gags.
To me, it seems random.
Each instance (VP or bldg in a given district) will vary on which gags miss wne when.
I think the characteristics of each bldg and VP, (until it is taken over or defeated) get seeded when it spawns.
Then it remains same till it is conquered.
If you go sad or ditch a bldg or VP, then go to same bldg or VP right after
the same gag misses can and often will happen at the same sequence.
For example: when gag building my 15 laffer w/ my bodyguard, I would screw up and go sad.
I would go right back to same bldg and alter my strategy (piano and sq vs luer and have lure miss or whatever).
Same thing in the VP where I went to VP (late at night), we dicthed after cogs cuz 1-2 toons went sad.
Wnet right back to same district and VP and used a Toon HIT to overcome a Lure Miss at the same sequence in cogs
You get the same cogs in the same order.
In a busy district new bldgs and VPs' get spawned so it doesn't help as much.
As to sound missing, it is pretty random, and I don't beleive the TT cards or guides that say sound is high accuracy.
Heck I was in a CJ last week, all of us maxed, and had sound miss 3x row. 2 times it was Fogs + Level 7s back to back. 3 misses out of 8-10 uses? heck that's less than 70% accuracy, not 95%.
But... I don't mind sound. If I can convince toons to sound (eg 3 fogs on a bunch of 11's), I'll pull my Bessie for insurance. Sound hits, I save my SOS, sound misses, maybe I get lucky. (Or I play a toon hit or cog miss if I have them.)
Does seem it misses at the most inoppurtune moments.

Very well said Littlespike. I’ve also noticed that the characteristics of each bldg get set when the building is first created (until saved/defeated). It is just so odd that it seems that sound never misses for so long and just when you need it the most it misses three times in a row. I can do factories for hours and never miss a single sound. This lulls you into a false sence of security.
