I started an uber yesterday. I'm not sure really what to do at all. Anyone who has done this can you give me some tips?

I found it easy to first get the one or two gag tracks you are going to get and then work gags. I took Meow in buildings with the big toon on the other account and well some not THAT nice lady  and let her have it on the top floor. Big toon just there to TU and lure if needed. Of course, invasion is prefered. My new one is in that process now but with only three tracks to work it shouldn't take as long.

I was planning on getting sound as my first choice. Then when I get to DD, I would choose drop. Do you think thats OK? Then I would stop there and work gags.

I would actually suggest lure and TU, it saves most uber's butt. Crazy has him as a friend, and would love to work with him

I was actually entertaining the idea of a second uber. Sound,drop. I like my lure, tu uber but wish I had picked sound - not may toons want to run factories without sound.

Well, I really wanted drop.....But it seems like it would be too hard. So I think I'm going to go with lure and sound. Sound would be better for Sellbot factories and lure can save me when I need it. Especially if I plant lure....

Second Uber toon took this option... I stayed at just sound to see if I liked the 25 laff range and I did so I never got to Drop.... have half of the tasks completed but am stuck at Laff boost which I won't complete. Thinking once I hit HW15 for laff boost then I would work on Drop since not longer good for help a toon tasks. DD was a good place to get help with big toons needing 25 laff and under buildings.
Get sound done then find buildings in DD or DG and work your toon hard in the Invasion districts. I found 3 stories were just as good as 4 and you can complete more 3s instead of looking and completing 4s. Once Aaroooogh comes along hit the factory....takes 10  This sound gag seems to be more acceptable...not sure why but that is my experience...
I used a second account with my big toon who was in the process of maxxing Sell to 'pull' my uber along in the factory... I would use every gag and every gag restock along the way.

Thanks for the tips Varmint. I'm getting sound for sure. I just need to think if I want lure or drop........Drop is one of my favorite gag tracks, while lure is a pain in the butt in the beginning.

Treading is tu/lure. She seldoms sees the light of day anymore. As my first uber, she will always hold a special place in my heart. But, the most fun I have is playing my 3track sound uber. Still, I haven't the heart to move him up to a 4track for drop. I am working on a 4 track sound/drop uber now. If you want drop, then you get drop. There is no right or wrong and you will enjoy playing more with gags you like. Just do what feels right to you. Oh.....and have fun!

If you want drop - go for it!
Make sure you collect a few SOS lure cards for emergencies  . Having a nice boat picked daily to drop on the skeles is probably going to save your toony self more often than a pair of goggles .

Well......not sure if you are asking in general or if you a asking me but since these posts I have recently (Tuesday 10/30) maxed my uber and never did hook up with Goofo. I have no future desire to see the inside of the factory on Open  I now have my Test toons to max...
Sorry... and good luck! Take some of the thoughts and concepts from the aboves posts in this thread and you'll have a "real" uber in no time.
* Real - as in max gags.
