Qualifying Trophies

When these trophies state that you've qualified for 3 billion races (ok, feels that way) does it mean in an actual race or can it be in a practice race?

i don't know the real answer but i've been doing lots of practice races and i don't think its working. so i think it has to be an actual race. i'd really like to know the exact answer too though.

I don't think that practice races count for trophies.

The only trophy you can obtain with practice races is grand touring trophy, all others you need to race with at least one other player.

Now my next question with the Grand Touring trophies - you need to qualify for 25 to get the top qualifying trophy, does that mean 25 races total or 25 times of qualifying for the 3 races you do (as in, you'd have to qualify for all 3 races every time for 25 times)?

I hope that made sense! Just want to see what I'm truly in for with maxing my toons.

Theres only one Trophy for grand touring. If you look at the your personal record page, each track should have a time, that one is the 30th trophy. I think what your thinking is Grand Prix trophys. Heres a link to TTC with the list.

A tournament race is really 3 separate races. So do I need to qualify for just for 25 separate Tournament races, or all three races 25 times?

In the TTC thread it says: In tournament race there are 3 races involved, if you win all 3 you have "swept" them.

I don't sweep at home and I will NOT be sweeping in TT. 1 racing laff and it will stay that way. Funny I do have the Grand Touring trophy....how the heck did I get that?

Unfortunately, I think they have to be actual races to qualify. I've had LRB down at the track lately racing anyone willing to lose to me. I have to tell you this last racing lp will cost me a small fortune if it is up to my daughter, Bella. Ian is a bit easier to bribe... "here race Mommy's other toon!" But then the race lasts forever since he has to turn around/ back up for any missed presents or speed. I tried trading wins with dh but then he kept winning "but I had a really good round going!" So I decided for the health of our marriage, I won't be racing him. Confused

At least we know we can theoretically get those racing lps (as long as there are nice toons out there). I'm not so sure about that last lp for fishing.
