Question about tasks....
View Single PostView Single Post

Is there ANY way to delete a task? My 4 year old somehow started playing Fleur the other day (level 105) and ended up taking three horrific tasks that I am now stuck with!!!! Good thing he is cute. Rolling Eyes

The only way to get rid of them is to delete the toon or complete them. Many a story about 'bad' toon tasks or my kid deleted (traded in) my max trained doodle, deleted my toon or spent all of my jellies....

What were the tasks?

Those aren't bad... Very Happy

20 Bulls will go by quickly when you start working Cash.
Was it the 1000 cogs for a clothing ticket? Many have taken that one too.

At 105 laff you are most likely only going to get just for fun tasks...earning jellies, clothing tickets, and visual effect for the toon (flat, short, tall, big head, white, transparent.....)

200 Spin Doctors doesn't sound fun. If you have your law suit then it's like Varmint said so not a big deal. I do think I figured out a way to get easy tiny toon tasks when you finish. Hopefully when you complete them, you won't be running around with a giant head. Very Happy

To get rid of an effect quickly?
Go see the Bear on Polar place and he will erase your current effect with the No Color (White) / Big toon effect that only last a short time while in the Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.

200 Spin Doctors?! OMG! I think those kind of jobs are ridiculous to finish. I'm not sure how to get rid of them....All I can say is good luck.

Good luck with your tasks. I feel your pain. Sad
I once picked the "200 5 story buildings" (I think for one of the final "real" tasks in Donald's Dreamland). I thought--gee, that shouldn't take so long. Well, was I in for a shock.
I picked it in October. Finished the task in March. Rolling Eyes
Of course, I didn't do a building every day and didn't get to play every day during the holidays--should have done the math before I picked it. Best thing to do if you get this one, do at least 3 buildings a day. At least it helped me build up my gags.
My advise is DO NOT EVER PICK THAT TASK! Shocked

Yes, I think 200 5 story buildings is up there with the worst tasks Smile
1000 cogs will go quicker than you think - after all, you can do anything and be working on that task!
I took 10 bullions on my maxed toon for tiny toon - so that can't be that bad Smile. Especially if you are working cash.

Ok - the Spin Doctor thing really does stink!

Are the 1,000 cogs in DDL?!? I had that task on PBB, THAT TOOK FOREVER....I had started doing Cash at that point. It's really hard to finish that task once you're in Cashbot HQ, but if you're persistant, you should be able to. Just think of it this way...You're helping smaller toons finish their buildging tasks...

20 Bullions will go by fast when you're working CFO's! No problem there.

200 Spin Doctors sounds like a fun task to work on Rolling Eyes for the day. Heehee. You should be able to be done with that in a day (maybe 2?!?)

Gee, thanks guys, I have the 200 5 story building thing. I was so excited to see a non "fun" task that I took it (stupid, stupid me, Evil or Very Mad I know better than that). I've got well over a quarter done though, and it's been less than a month.

Oops! Embarassed Sorry. You are doing much better and at a faster rate than I did, so don't get discouraged. Smile

No worries, just being really sarcastic...that is my sense of humor. Snarkypants is my middle name (or should be). I'm just desperately trying to find something to do to take my mind off of waiting for HP and the Deathly Hallows. I have had my copy on order since January (or whatever the day after the day they announced the publish date was Laughing ). I have to work on Friday, so I won't be off until 11:30p. The bookstore is across town, so once I get there it won't be too bad. Just 3 more days!
