I won't make the VP as there is no way I can get Meow's merits, but if I can get on early enough before the CFO I can try and get my 140 bux. I do enjoy the CFO run!

Woo Hoo, barring unforeseen RL annoyances, I'll be there for the sell uber run on Vorpal Bunny. Finally got juggle this morning while getting merits, and lure, throw, and squirt are all maxed. He's a Glad Hander so he's seen some VP action, and my sell uber on test is a HW 41, but this'll be my first all-uber run. Looking forward to it!

It was nice seeing you and Heather there tonight. Too bad we didn't get on the same elevator, but them's the breaks.
It was a fun run for my first all-uber VP, though nearly as tense at times as a random, but for completely different reasons.
Cog round went well. Two of us had lure and we took turns. Other than my first one (sigh) I think all the rest hit. The only oddity there was one toon kept using big gags when they weren't needed (like adding a birthday cake when there was already enough to kill the cog. She did that twice, and at least once with a cloud too. Strange.
In the skels the other three were all in the 20-something laff range so I knew I had the only lure. First lure hit, they killed one of the two skels, then I used my slide show on the three new ones. I thought it would make sense to keep those three and kill the new ones, but they killed the right hand one. I can't really blame them, it's CCG strategy after all, but I thought as ubers they'd be more in tune with using every possible advantage. As soon as I said "You should choose a different cog" they got it though, and from then on we killed the new ones. We took a few hits when lure missed and when one woke up. That was the tense part, because I took a bad hit and thought they were all sound ubers and I was the only one with TU, but it turned out one did have TU, so we all made it no problem.
The pie fight went incredibly fast. No real surprise there since I figure most uber players are very experienced. But my computer chose that point to get really laggy and I could hardly control where I was going much less aim pies. No problem though, all the good stunning spots were taken and they were doing a heck of a good job, so I stood to the side and just pied him back when I could. Towards the end my lag cleared up, and the front close stunner walked away (I don't know why, but I think maybe to pie TU his friend). So I took his spot and did the last few stuns.
All in all it was a blast. I'll be back.
