| tirad446 : | I have had the same problem from my friends, but I haven't figure out how to get the secret code. I was told to use the first letter of the speedchat phrases they use but how do you figure out the numbers needed? I would love the figure this out also. If anyone has the secret please let us in.
Thanks. |
To get the code, click on a toon friends name. When his or her menu opens one item there is "true friends". Click on that and a menu will appear that requests the parental code if you have one if not you go directly to the "code page". There you can either request a code or submit one the other toon has given you. When you get the code it is good for 48 hours and can be used by anyone you give it to I think. You should prepare a menu of your speedchat phrases and a list of missing letters beforehand. If your new code contains letters you cannot do, just get another one and repeat until you get one you can do. For me, the "Impossible" letters are e, k, q,x,v. Once it appears that you have successfully given the code, go to your on-line friends list and watch the color of your friends name. When it turns blue you can declare success. If it turns out to be a bad mistake, just delete the toon from your friends list. I think you can then add them back as a regular friend. I allways wait until the name turns blue than type "oink oink oinkety oink" just as a joke..but correct that quickly..it is a pretty mean trick. When you are chatting go to your estate, I consider it rather rude to chat a lot in front of toons that can't. Also, you are very limited on chat length and when you get to the end your chat is entered. It goes away immediately when you enter a new chat sentence. So if you run over two letters and quickly hit enter your first sentence goes away. I find it useful to use the period before the chat so you get the persistent "thought" bubble that does not disappear with time. A lot of toons have to look at the keyboard to type and they might miss what you have laboriously just typed.
