I'm starting a new thread to discuss what happened at ToonFest. Did any TTFers go? I know one person who did. Hopefully she will come tell us all about it! In the meantime, I found this article about it.

Disney's Toontown Online Hosts ToonFest 2007
ORLANDO, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- Toontown fans from across the nation donned their character costumes and geared up for today's ToonFest 2007, the third official Disney Online sponsored fan event dedicated to the family-friendly game, Disney's Toontown Online (www.toontown.com). Kids and parents, along with Jake Thomas and Maiara Walsh of Disney Channel's Cory in the House, gathered at Fantasia Gardens Golf Course at the Walt Disney World Resort to participate in a variety of themed activities and competitions.
"ToonFest provides a unique and fun opportunity for the rapidly growing and diverse group of Toontown Online fans to come together as a real community and celebrate everything they love about the game," said Steve Parkis, vice president of Premium Products for Disney Online. "Last year's California-hosted ToonFest was such a huge success, it convinced us to bring the event to Walt Disney World for the first time."
Designed specifically for kids and families, Disney's Toontown Online is an award-winning massively multiplayer online game filled with nonstop play, ever-changing adventure and irreverent fun. The game has experienced continued success with over 17.5 million Toons created since its launch in 2003. Toontown Online is an endlessly evolving and immersive 3-D online world where thousands of players live as Toons. Players can create personalized characters, customize and drive race karts, care for and train Toon pets called Doodles, and team up with friends to defeat the invading robot Cogs. With an arsenal of gags to add to the fun, the Toontown experience is always growing, always changing, and as wild as the imagination.
At the sold out ToonFest 2007, fans took part in exciting activities and competitions throughout the day including carnival games, in-game racing on Goofy Speedway, developer Q&A panels, a Toon costume contest, a Toontown trivia competition, and more. Disney Online also unveiled an exciting new in-game expansion at this year's event - Toontown miniature golf, featuring Chip and Dale.
Disney's Toontown Online is available for download at www.Toontown.com. Users can play a portion of the game for free for as long as they want and at any time. Players then have the option of purchasing full premium access to the game on a monthly (30 days for $9.95), semi-annual (6 months for $49.95) or annual (12 months for $79.95) subscription plan. Each full membership includes six separate "Toons" so that individual family members may play as their own character.

I was over at Disney today, not at Toonfest, but I did see several kids in their Toontown shirts! I didn't have time to stop and quiz them about the Fest.
I know which miniature golf course they let them play and OOOOFFFF it is a hard one!!

I really hope they don't make it TOO hard as it still is a kids game and we don't want to frustrate a bunch of 8yos because they can't play well. The whole golf thing makes sense with "bosses" going golfing and the boss cogs using the golf club attack on the toons.
I'm thrilled about the extra spaces on the my phrases section and I like the idea of the bigger closet! Halloween is coming and I'll need those shirts

It always seem to me that it's harder for me than my kids to play these games...slower reflexes?
I certainly hope they make fishing a little easier.
